Is this where I go to complain that 4 of the 5 entries are about wars? Stevage 14:27, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Changes[edit]

I have changed the text from "kidnap" to "capture" and removed "held hostage." Put simply, the Gilad Shalit also uses that terminology, and it is backed up by citations. hbdragon88 (talk) 02:12, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

So help me out here: The complainer unilaterally makes the change on the Gilad Shalit article[1][2] before posting on WP:ERRORS [3], and then after not getting a satisfactory answer to his perference, he requests it on WP:ANI[4]. Meanwhile, he is reverted on the Gilad Shalit article with the edit summary, "rv lead changes: see sources.(also note its recieved long-term agreement".[5] I see a contradiction here, hbdragon88. Zzyzx11 (talk) 04:29, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I see there was a dispute about the word "hostage" discussed on Talk:Gilad Shalit#RfC: Use of the term "hostage" regarding Gilad Shalit and Wikipedia:Requests for mediation/Gilad Shalit. Again, the Main Page defers to the article for accuracy or when there is disagreement, so whatever is consensus there should be reflected here. Zzyzx11 (talk) 04:37, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Juliana Morell[edit]

Hi Howcheng, Morell belongs on 26 June? Thanks, JennyOz (talk) 06:05, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@JennyOz: How did I get that wrong? I even added the reference to the death date in the article. Thanks. howcheng {chat} 07:12, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well, probably because "stuff" happens but you do do a marvellous job here! Thanks, you are appreciated! JennyOz (talk) 07:47, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
