You seem to be having a lot of trouble today with comprehending our blocking policies. This essay is sarcasm to demonstrate the futility of blaming others for your own actions, it has never been considered a valid reason to unblock, see WP:GOTHACKED. Problem with the nutshell box[edit]

It is my understanding that the text in the "This page in a nutshell" box is written seriously because there is a "Seriously, though..." section at the end of the page, but since all other nutshell boxes on pages with the {{humorantipolicy}} template are written sarcastically (i.e. advocating the "standards or conduct that are generally not accepted by the Wikipedia community"), it is easy for readers to assume that this is also the case with this page, and that what this nutshell box says is wrong, and that they can blame their little brother. This misunderstanding is especially likely to occur to casual readers - people who skim the content of the page or do not read the page at all, since the purpose of the nutshell box is to avoid reading a lengthy page. Real Talk: Shared IP Addresses[edit]

A lot of ISPs have their customers sharing IP addresses with neighboring residences, most notably in college campuses. Would "someone else in my dorm probably did something stupid" be reason enough to unblock someone?
