This is where the project organizes its collaborations, in an effort to systematically improve Wikipedia's vital articles to GA-, A-, and FA-Class.

How-to[edit]

Vital article collaborations are discussed on a single subpage of the subject article's talk page, located at [[Talk:[article name]/VAC]]. These subpages should always be headed with the text "This collaboration discussion is [[WP:TRANSCLUDE|transcluded]] from [[Talk:[article name]/VAC]]." (replacing [article name] with the actual name of the article). To start a collaboration, create the subpage with this header text and an initial comment, including a link to this page. That subpage should then be transcluded onto the bottom of the normal talk page.

Next update the {{Vital}} template by adding in |collaboration=yes and add {{Vital construction}} to the top of the article itself.

Finally, make sure that all relevant WikiProjects have been made aware of the collaboration by adding a note on their project talk pages.

Current collaborations[edit]

The project should have two active collaborations at any given time, on distinct topics. Each collaboration lasts for about two weeks; one collaboration should finish and a new one chosen each week.
