Welcome to WikiProject University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, this is a WikiProject that has been set up to better organize and present information in all articles related to University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the North Carolina Tar Heels. This project is never-ending, and all are welcome to contribute.
This project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians to improve all UNC related articles in order to make Wikipedia a comprehensive resource about UNC for all who visit. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page and see the to-do list there.
Recent changes to University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill articles
Scope[edit]
This project is designed to help those interested in improving all of the UNC related articles on Wikipedia to find a particular area in which they are interested in working. As University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is a broad subject, there are many sub-projects and collaborations in which you can participate.
Reminder: All are welcome to make changes!!!
Goals[edit]
- Bring University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill article up to Featured Article status.
- Bring North Carolina Tar Heels and History of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill articles up to Good Article status.
- Standardize the style and format of articles on any article pertaining to University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the North Carolina Tar Heels subjects.
- Document alumni/athletes who attended or graduated from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill who have not been added yet.
- The alumni who have been added: need their profiles expanded on the List of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill alumni page. In addition, please provide proper sources.
- Create a body of articles that accurately depicts the history and culture of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the North Carolina Tar Heels.
- Expand the number of articles regarding University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and subjects pertaining to this university. In addition, improve the quality as well.
- Highlight University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's relationship and contributions to the rest of the world.
- Properly source all UNC-related articles, preferably using the <ref> element and the {{cite}} series of templates.
- Monitor the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina Tar Heels pages to assure no one vandalizes them.
- Update the pictures, images, and rankings for University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
- Document and categorize the faculty who are currently or have previously taught at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
- Document all the athletic coaches who have ever been employed by University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
- Document all academic administrators who have ever been employed by University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
