2005 Atlantic hurricane season[edit]

Archived discussion. Current status: {{FA-Class}}

I point this one out since it was already changed to an A. Jdorje 02:11, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I will not support 2005's nomination until the storms section is trimed and restored. -- §Hurricane ERIC§ archive -- my dropsonde 14:02, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Er, how about the section at 2005 Atlantic hurricane season storms is summarized in a [[temp page, and then it is moved there, with the long, detailed explanation remaining at 2005 Atlantic hurricane season storms? Titoxd(?!? - help us) 04:48, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Merging the storms list into the storm section has inherent problems - namely, that it is nearly 1.5 times as long as the entire rest of the article. If it is trimmed to a "decent length" that is appropriate with the rest of the article, it will be no longer than the current Storms section anyway. Any larger, and the article will be unbalanced in favor of overdetailed storm summaries. The details of each storm are not relevant to the season as a whole. —Cuiviénen (Cuivië) 15:04, 27 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Either way, most of the Tropical Cyclone Reports have come out, so it is time to start discussing what to do. Right now, I think it already is an A, so I would support it. Titoxd(?!? - help us) 06:40, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • I would support A class, but there are still some grammar and spelling problems. Still, this is well on its way, and this could be a featured season eventually. Hurricanehink 14:08, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
