Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

Recreation of Draft:Famoe in mainspace after the draft was removed under G7 which was created by user Thewriter801 and the newly created version is exactly same as the deleted version. GSS (talk|c|em) 05:02, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Adding LTMajorPayne as possible duck who removed speedy deletion notice earlier and moved Draft:Famoe to mainspace today. GSS (talk|c|em) 05:10, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I came here to open an SPI on Thewriter801,Ccv 192724, and LTMajorPayne. Note that an IP posted on DGG's talk page warning of an Upwork advertisement for paid editing:

Needs to hire 10 Freelancers Review and Accept submission of Recording Artist Famoe.[1]

DGG requested that the IP supply more info by E-mail, but I do not know if it was received. Thewriter801 acknowledged a COI on their userpage.[2] LTMajorPayne was given a warning/question about Undisclosed paid editing, said they were not being paid, and deleted it from their user talk page.[3] They are all involved in the Famoe article. They all have contribution histories strongly suggesting Undisclosed Paid Editing (a handful of edits to establish AutoConfirmed, then dropping clearly experienced full articles, all articles being of a company or biography typical of paid editing, and nearly all of those articles have been tagged for Notability or blatant advertising style). I didn't receive anything further. DGG ( talk ) 20:07, 26 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
What is wrong with deleting stuff from my talk page? You asked me whether or not I was a paid editor and I responded.LTMajorPayne (talk) 01:25, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
LTMajorPayne we allow fairly broad discretion for people to manage their talk page as they see fit, and deleting the content was absolutely allowed. However deleting discussions can make it more difficult to understand events. Sometimes people try to whitewash anything negative from their talk page to evade scrutiny, which can be a redflag. But mainly I mentioned deletion to ensure that someone didn't causally look at the page and think my report was in error because they didn't see it. Clerk, CheckUser, and/or patrolling admin comments[edit]

  • The master is stale. The first two accounts I feel like are being put through proxies. The second two accounts, I don't see enough evidence listed to check. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 04:57, 28 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Nothing more to do here. Closing. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 06:17, 3 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

in this edit, recently blocked editor LTMajorPayne appears to indicate that they have other, undisclosed accounts. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 17:11, 28 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ccv 192724 (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki) is likely based on the cu log. Curb Safe Charmer, you might try asking them what accounts. This is likely in reference to the Thisisfamoe19877 SPI case.

@Berean Hunter: I received a rather predictable reply, here. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 17:38, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I've blocked the above account and there isn't much else to do here. Would a clerk please move this case to Thisisfamoe19877 SPI case. Thank you.
 — Berean Hunter (talk) 10:33, 5 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Berean Hunter: I can't move. When I try, i get a [XDfmxQpAICgAAHOESYkAAABO] 2019-01-11 00:43:50: Fatal exception of type "MWException" notice. Vanjagenije (talk) 00:44, 11 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Same here Vanjagenije. I got the same error after trying several times and do not know why. I was able to move the case to a similar name so then I manually deleted the Thisisfamoe19877 case and was then able to move it to the correct name and restore the history. If you could check behind me and tag, I think it is ready for a close.
