Suspected sockpuppets[edit]

This appears to be an undisclosed paid sockfarm solely focused on promoting Boxabl. Both Whole Combination 97 and GrowTheWorld9 were registered within about two weeks of each other. They both added promotional content to the Boxabl article and uploaded images of the company, claiming them as their own work. Interestingly, two of the images, File:Boxabl Factory interior.jpg uploaded by Whole Combination 97 and File:Boxabl Casitas at the end of the assembly line..jpg by GrowTheWorld9, share identical metadata records such as camera manufacturer, model, date of data generation, and software used, especially the date of digitizing. Although the master account is inactive, they were quite active on the article and even removed the {{undisclosed paid}} tag, indicating a potential conflict of interest. • Jaja415 and 68.194.210.77 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) are more stale COI/SPA type editors as well. The Commons images were one of the initial red flags to me- some aren't published elsewhere and they all appear to be from the sort of asset library that a PR department keeps about itself. tedder (talk) 18:02, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
