reasoning -67.78.157.2 (talk) 03:00, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

The article is about Alison Valerie Hart, who has independently published her own book of over 500 pages, and has also published a unique presentation of filmography by combining cartoons and silent movies for a presentation representative of a new art form. She is an authority on silent movies stars and silent movie productions.

Jonny Z

reasoning -68.6.226.217 (talk) 22:18, 21 May 2013 (UTC) Jonny Z is a west coast Hispanic mc,who has 5 of the greatest Miami Bass songs of all time to his credit. His songs were a combination of danceable beats, mixed with more risque bilingual lyrics than those of most Latin MC'S of his time. He had 4 singles reach the Billboard Dance/ Maxi Single sales charts with Shake Shake, No Senor, Latin Swing and Mamacita.[1]

Jonny Z. grew up in San Diego Ca. He began performing in the early '90s and scored his first hit in 1993 with "Shake-Shake," which was released by Quality Records and reached the Top 40 of Billboard's dance chart. The song was not easily accepted at radio due to his use of the word "CULO". The song was such underground hit that it garnered radio and club play around the world It is considered to be one of the top 50 greatest Miami Bass songs of all time. [[2]] Jonny Z repeated this success with his 1996 self-titled debut album, "JONNY Z" which included three other Billboard dance chart hits, "No Señor," "Mamacita," and "Latin Swing." Two years later, his follow-up, Z 1 N Only, appeared; he then switched to the One Lil Vato imprint for his third album, 1999's Sancho Villa. On this album he was the first artist to combine regional Mexican music with rap, with the release of the single "THE CHONA" The following year, Jonny Z. moved to Thump Records and released his fourth full-length, Bass Balla, which featured contributions from Tequila Mission, the South Park Mexican, and ODM from a Lighter Shade of Brown. The album featured the song Ku-Ku which sampled Sonora Dinomita's classic. Jonny Z continues to perform to this day.

Talk:Success Academy Charter Schools

Please userfy the talk page (the AfD-deleted article without the talk page has already been userfied to another editor, who has started a new talk page), because the AfD process indicated that questions may arise about my editing and behavior (I was the most frequent editor) and in responding to that people will need access to the talk page and its history. I can reconstruct most of the talk page from offline files at home but other people don't have access to those. I intend to apply the NOINDEX search engine restriction to it, I don't intend to edit or add new topics/sections to the talk page, and I intend to indicate that it is not the current talk page for discussing the article or the talk (there is one already). If the talk page is not renamed during userfication, I intend to rename it to append something like "(former talk)", for clarity. These steps may take me a few days, as I expect to be offline for the holiday weekend. No BLP issue or copyright violation was said to apply to either the article or the talk page; the article was probably deleted as an alternative to stubification because of various reasons including length and promotionality (we disagreed). This is not a deletion review request. Nick Levinson (talk) 17:05, 23 May 2013 (UTC) -Nick Levinson (talk) 17:05, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

Christian Billboard (June 1, 2013)

Please, I am working on getting the references and saw it was deleted, I know it meets your speedy nomination requirements, but once I'm finished, it WILL be a good page. -Candygarret (talk) 01:10, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

Not done. This could perhaps be userfied for you to work on, but please explain what you are trying to do here, because I do not see how this is going to be an acceptable article. If you are planning to copy into Wikipedia the ratings from some existing Christian billboard site, that is likely to be a copyright violation; on the other hand, if you plan to set up here a new billboard rating list of your own, I find it hard to see how that would not be WP:Original research. JohnCD (talk) 12:57, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

It is to inform people about my opinion of the chart, what I think the rankings should be, if it is not acceptable for a public page, then could you possibly make it visible just to me then? -Candygarret (talk) 09:04, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

That rationale seems to run afoul of couple of sections of WP:NOT, specifically, Wikipedia is not a publisher of original thought and Wikipedia is not a blog, Web hosting service, social networking service, or memorial site. There are a lot of places where you can get free web hosting. --Mosmof (talk) 14:47, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

So it would be unacceptable also if I use the actual ratings and put references to the site? Candygarret (talk) 11:22, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

But why would we only list one date? We have an article about the Billboard Christian charts - how you or anyone else personally feels about the chart on a specific date is irrelevant in an encyclopedia (✉→BWilkins←✎) 18:21, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

Thnks for your help, I'm sorry, I didn't realize there was a page for the christian billboard chart, sorry for the hassle, thanks again, Candygarret (talk) 18:31, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

I want to re-emphasize that if your purpose "is to inform people about my opinion of the chart, what I think the rankings should be" then Wikipedia is not the place to do it. Wikipedia is not your webhost, and we will not allow you to use us as a place to blog about your opinions on the charts or anything else, anywhere on the project. That's just not what we're for. --Orange Mike | Talk 22:53, 24 May 2013 (UTC)

Polytechnic University of the Philippines College of Education

We, the Communications Management Office of PUP, would to request the undeletion of the article "Polytechnic University of the Philippines College of Education". The page has brought information to those who want to know more about the college. One time, the user Xeltran vandalized and attacked the article (and the articles of other colleges) of PUPCoEd. Our editors organized the article but the user Xeltran still kept disorganizing the article. Things got worse when he nominated it for deletion and he, himself, deleted the article. The college, which was the Philippine Business College of the Year and PUP's oldest college, and one of CHEd's premeir center of excellence in teacher education, wants to undelete the article. The college followed the process of request of undeletion in hope they can bring back the article. The process was succesful and it was again free but he user Xeltran again attacked the article by deleting and protecting it. Anyone from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and its College of Education cannot edit it anymore. We think that it was wrong deletion because its deletion is a result of User vandalism. We, the CMO of PUP, would to take over the article. We would to share the CoEd's achievements in shaping the Philippine Education. We like to get the article unprotected and undeleted. Thank you.

Communications Management Office Polytechnic University of the Philippines -Libertylie (talk) 07:45, 28 May 2013 (UTC)

Not done. Wikipedia is not a "notice-board" site like Myspace or Facebook for people or institutions to write about themselves or post prospectuses or copies of their websites. You want "to take over the article" to tell the world about "the CoEd's achievements", but that is exactly not what Wikipedia is for - it is not a soapbox or means of promotion. In regard to PUPCE you have, from Wikipedia's point of view, a Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, and should read that guideline and the WP:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide.
An encyclopedia is aimed at the general reader, and the sort of detail appropriate for parents or prospective students belongs on the College website, not here. The website can be linked, so that the detail is only one click away from readers who want it. See also WP:Avoid academic boosterism.
The term "vandalism" should be used only for deliberate attempts to damage the encyclopedia, not for edits you happen to disagree with. In regard to user Xeltran's contributions, at a quick look it seems to me that s/he was doing a good job by removing promotional and over-detailed material and attempting to make the article less like a prospectus and more like an encyclopedia article.
This page is not for reversing or disputing the result of deletion discussions. It was decided at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Polytechnic University of the Philippines College of Education that the College was best covered by a mention in the article on the parent Polytechnic University of the Philippines. This is often the case - see Wikipedia:College and university article guidelines, particularly the section Faculties and academic colleges
The page has been protected because you have attempted to override the decision of the Articles for Deletion discussion by again posting large amounts of prospectus-type material over the redirect. If you disagree with the AfD decision, you should first approach the administrator who closed it, user Ryan Postlethwaite (talk). Then, if your concerns are not addressed, you may take them to Wikipedia:Deletion review.

Not done You would pretty much have to remove all of it - which was done (you even removed "notability not met" tags by another editor!) I'd swear you worked for the company by a) how it was written, and b) how it's possible that you cannot see how promotional it was. Inc Top 5000 is an achievement?? No - not the first time, and not the fifth time either. A shopping cart is a feature worth mentioning? No. None of these add up to the notability requirements, and as Wikipedia is not a business directory I see no way to fix it (✉→BWilkins←✎) 11:07, 28 May 2013 (UTC)

Not done and will not be done. It is indeed largely a copyright violation from sites like this and this. Wikipedia cannot accept material copied from elsewhere unless a formal copyright release is made; but in this case there would be no point, because this material would be quite unacceptable, as being far too promotional in tone. You must write in your own words, keeping to a neutral point of view. JohnCD (talk) 21:13, 28 May 2013 (UTC)

I was not given opportunity to contest unreasonably speedy deletion; subject is notable as awardee of the Member of the Order of the British Empire and the post-honours system Silver Bauhinia Star; both awards make subject notable, IMO. • I see a BLP with no clear assertion of notability that is lacking reliable sources. By no stretch can an MBE (the very lowest rung) be considered an assertion of notability and the silver star looks like its being given to over 20 people a year so I doubt that myself, and again, its not the highest rung - and probably a step up from the MBE. The bottom line for me is that this is an unsourced BLP so I'm not prepared to undelete this myself as I personally consider that to be a controversial move and REFUND is for uncontroversial requests. I won't formally close this as my colleagues may disagree. Spartaz Humbug! 17:25, 28 May 2013 (UTC)

Not done - this article has not been restored because it does not appear to meet our guidelines for inclusion of articles about companies. Since the article you are here about was deleted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kali Bowyer, it cannot be undeleted through this process. However, if you believe that the outcome of the discussion did not reflect the consensus of the participants, or that significant new information has come to light since the article was deleted, you may contact the administrator who closed the discussion, user DGG (talk · contribs).  Not done If this was a vanilla G13 deletion I would restore, but this was also very much blatant advertising, subject to WP:CSD#G11 and if I restored I would just need to delete it on a different basis. Also, the page has all the hallmarks of a copy and paste copyvio; I would actually be shocked if it wasn't copied and pasted given the way it is written and formatted, as was noted by the reviewer. For these reasons, I will not undelete it.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 04:54, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

N Not done Hi Jhumble1. This page is for requesting the undeletion of pages that were deleted, by administrators, and can only be reversed by administrators. While I understand the source of the confusion—the content you added was "deleted" in the sense that another user reverted your edits—that is not the type of deletion this page is about. The revision where you added the content remains in the page's history and anyone can "undelete" it; this page is unrelated to that type of undeletion issue. What I suggest is that you post to the article's talk page explaining why you think the content belongs.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 04:45, 31 May 2013 (UTC)
