Wikipedia:Requests for feedback/2011 March 5

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is my first attempt at publishing an article on Wikipedia. I would appreciate any input any of you out there have. This is a page for our independent record label, I have referenced several verifiable, quality, accurate sources and tried to remain neutral. Thanks for your help. Jessica

Hi all, first time posting an article for feedback so forgive me if I mess up protocol. The article is on Gabrielle Bernstein, a self-help author and motivational speaker.

This is my newest edited article. I have removed all the links that are not-independent and clean out my word choices. Please take time to read through this article and let me know what I need to improve. Thanks a lot for your time and your patience.

Could you evaluate some content and advise on formatting? After reading Wikipedia guidelines for articles about living persons, I've drafted a bio article and would appreciate Wiki editors' feedback. This person's works are already fairly well represented online but there's no biographical article to connect the dots. The article is drafted, has headings, internal and external links, and sources set out in Word footnotes. I'm working on formatting of links and references. What's the next step forward? Your material says to place a link to the article. Paste the article text into my user page? That can't be it. I'll check the advice pages until I hear back. Much appreciated.

Exactly where is the article? I'm going to guess you have it on your computer and you are asking how to get it into Wikipedia. If that's the case, here's what to do. Click on Wikipedia:Article wizard and click on the prompts/fill in boxes as necessary. READ what it has to say. Make sure to create the article in your userspace. (The Wizard gives this option.) Then enter your article and come back here so we can see it. If I have guessed wrong, you will have to provide a link to the article, because I couldn't find it. I would appreciate a review of this new article, please. And if there are any tips for improving it, that would help, too. Thank you.

This is a userspace draft for an article about a topic in abstract mathematics. Does anyone have ideas how I can improve the article with respect to readability for non-mathemeticians? In particular, I seek comments from non-mathematicians and would like to hear, what they would like to have improved for better understandability. Furthermore I welcome any comments on the structure of the article, since I am unsure if the current structuring makes sense or is useful. Thanks.  Done by User:Naraht. Thank you for your comments. Category: Life Sciences.
I've made two articles on a morphological feature of fish gas bladder. Please read them and tell me if they deserve to be separate articles or if they should rather be pages with redirect Swim_bladder#Structure_and_function. note: there are a few dangling red links to this term.

thanks. Staticd (talk) 13:51, 5 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Did you like the article?

As I am very new to the Wiki community and this is my first article, I would appreciate any feedback! :). Many thanks in advance!

Hello, I've made significant edits to this particular page, it used to be like this:

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_A_Nightmare_on_Elm_Street_characters&diff=414845182&oldid=413566705

I've arranged it by movie/medium instead of alphabetically, added missing characters including significant leading characters in some movies that were absent, re-wrote all the character summaries which seemed to be overly long and more like a novel narrative, added the actor and appearances bullet points. I have tried to add some references but they're mostly just references to the movies since I don't know what else I could find. I'm just interested in general feedback because no-one has really edited it long before or since I started so I have no idea what people actually think of it. I appreciate your input.
