Hi,

please help me with categorizing. I can't seem to get how it's supposed to be done. I appreciate it very much.

Thanks

Is the problem that the categories don't show up? The solution to that is to remove the "nowiki" tags. Then they show up fine. Is the issue which categories to use? Look at similar articles to see what they have. Then refer to Portal:Contents/Categories.
If I may add some comments. (1) Before worrying about categories, you should work on the article, writing it so that the information you convey is verified by "inline" citations. See Wikipedia:Citing sources, and then perhaps examine some established articles to see how this is supposed to be done. Right now you have a list of places where people could go to find out more. This is a technique more appropriately used for "See also" or "Further reading" references. (2) A little Googling suggests that once upon a time (2007 or before) there was a previous Warrior Diet article, but it got deleted. So I would be concerned that this article will be in for a good deal of scrutiny, and will need to be written with above average care. Tkotc (talk) 06:17, 20 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

To Whom It May Concern:

This article is about actor Antony Alda who came from a famous acting family, who was very active as an actor, and who wrote, directed, and acted in the film, The Role of a Lifetime starring Scott Bakula. His sons and nieces have continued in the family business.

Thank you so much for your assistance.

This page is thoroughly researched/footnoted to multiple sources and emphasizes the content of resilience, notably the bolded quote in the middle of the page. I will add more content related to resilience over the next few days, but in the meantime what would you suggest to make this sound less "promotional?"

Hiya, nice work! It's good to see such thorough referencing of statements. Could you explain what DIALOG is in the first sentence. I've made some minor changes (click on the history tab to see them).
There are a couple of reasons the other editor may have thought it promotional. Firstly we aim for a very detached encyclopedic tone, so phrases like "the far-reaching impacts of climate change" are interpreted as non-neutral. I completely agree with you that the impacts of climate change will be "far-reaching", but the encyclopedia shouldn't include that kind of value judgement from the editors. If Applegarth himself described them as far-reaching, we could include that kind of information in a sourced quote.
Secondly, including links to external websites in the article text isn't allowed. This is partly to stop readers getting risked away to other websites, and partly to prevent other websites trying to advertise by adding their links.
I realise both of these things can seem strange to a new contributer. You've done a good job so far, I look forward to seeing the rest of the content.--Physics is all gnomes (talk) 20:50, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I would just like feedback before making this page go live. Thanks!

This is my first Wiki page. It is an addition to pages in the Category, 'Populated_places_in_Ghana', and would probably benefit from more information from someone more familiar with the area.

That looks quite good to me. It looks like you have plenty of references. Thanks for all of your work. Jncraton (talk) 15:00, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
