http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harris_Levey Request for constructive feedback, input and modifications[edit]

Request for additional constructive feedback, input and modifications. I am still new to Wikipedia and have a great deal to learn in order to edit my article properly. I will be trying to find the time to read through the many great Wiki tutorials to help me learn how to make improvements and meet all wiki guidelines and criteria, but my time is limited to a few evenings and weekends. Any well-intentioned help towards my article will be greatly appreciated. Jonathan Levey 00:10, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

Good job, but I might suggest adding more references which will prove his notability (ex. from news, tv, big websites). Also, since you seem to be related to the subject (by your username), so you should be very careful to maintain a neutral and disinterested tone. Looks good though! ~ QwerpQwertus · Contact Me  · 06:17, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think you should work on adding more reliable references and maybe adding an infobox. Chevymontecarlo 06:49, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Consider adding an infobox to the article, such as Template:Infobox author or something similar. Chevymontecarlo - alt 08:36, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've pulled in information for this new album for the sites listed and I just want to know if this is acceptable for Wikipedia. It should be fine, but I want to make sure it's up to standards. Some things to check are some of the references posted and possibly the header content at the top of the article, other than that I'm not sure.

<My article has been online for more than 2 weeks and it is still unreviewed, what else do I need to do to get it accepted?. -->

~~Article123456 (talk) 09:11, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I reviewed it briefly on the IRC help channel, if you remember, but on here I think the article is fine, and the improvements suggested by the template boxes on the article are probably only really the two different things you need to consider doing. I want to publish this article

~~Tbampton (talk) 11:02, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think you need to work on adding more reliable references and adding suitable names to the references you already have, like this:
Example sentence in the article <ref>[http://www.apple.com/article/23576|Example reference name goes here!]</ref>.

I would like to have this article published on Wikipedia. Hopefully all the guidelines have been adhered to and it is well referenced and not written like an advertisement.

Please could you advise on how I can get this published? Also the image is my own and have tried to show this, if this is not acceptable please could you tell me what I need to do!

many thanks

It's already been moved to the mainspace, as it's not a separate page in your userspace. See my review above, and in future please be more patient. We try and get through all the reviews but a backlog soon appears. Chevymontecarlo - alt 08:44, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm just looking for general feedback on this page.

~~Hcim (talk) 11:18, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work; I like the categories and diagram that you've added. As to improvements, I think you need to add more links and try and add more reliable references. Thanks. Chevymontecarlo - alt 08:45, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Feedback is welcome.

Please review as new wiki entry.

~~Knoxvillearts (talk) 15:30, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is a new article about a free software and research project. I am closely involved with the project (as noted in my user page), but I've tried as far as possible to remain neutral in my writing. Feedback on the tone and structure would be particularly helpful. Thanks! ~~Elusive Pete (talk) 16:49, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is my first attempt at posting an article on Wikipedia, and I'm doing this for a friend. What tips or suggestions do you have for me? There is a lot more to include on this individual, but I'm keeping it brief for now until I figure out how this system works. Also, I believe my reference material is in the external links section... How do I include it in the reference section?

Thanks!

Looking for general feedback. This is my first article and would appreciate any input.

I am on the board of StatSheet and I have taken on the task of making sure this information is relevant and up to date. Thank you in advance for reviewing this article.

The last time I tried to submit this article I was told it had copyright violations, but I wrote the article myself. So I re-wrote it again in hopes that this time it would go through. I would like some feedback on it, if it seems copyrighted please let me know where so I can address it rather then just deleting the article and having to start all over again. Thank you.

~~Hbomb917 (talk) 20:21, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Try and add some names to the references, like this:
This is an example sentence in the article where a reference is located <ref>[http://www.examplewebsite.com/video/everything|Example reference name goes here, like this!]</ref>

Also, most copyright is detected by a bot (i.e. not a real person) so it's likely they might have made a mistake. I don't think it has any copyright problems, but I'm not exactly an expert on the copyright of Wikipedia articles. I hope these suggestions/feedback is useful. send me a message on my talk page if you have any further questions. Thank you. Chevymontecarlo 06:25, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just looking for a cursory review of this new article. Thanks!

~~Kerchels (talk) 20:59, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Try and display those two references that have no names using inline citations, and also try and add some useful names to them. Finally, keep looking for reliable references and add them to the article. Thanks, and I hope these tips are useful. Chevymontecarlo 06:18, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would just like some general feedback on if this article is neutral and notable to be posted on Wikipedia.

~~RachEich (talk) 21:15, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I made some improvements to the references and also added some links, but other than that I don't think there's much else you can do. On the notability front I think it's fine, as you have some good references from respected sources such as Techcrunch and Engadget. Well done with the article! new article for the Golden Gate Men's Chorus in San Francisco, California, USA

~~Tigger8252 (talk) 21:34, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is an accompanying article to the umbrella SnapStream Media (also pending feedback) and the sister article about Beyond TV. I plan to interlink all of these for easy reference. Please advise on improvements I can make.

~~RachEich (talk) 23:03, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent article; you've got some strong references there and I made a few minor improvements. I think you should try and add some more links if you can, and maybe an infobox as well. Thanks. Chevymontecarlo - alt 08:32, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
