Telogen #2[edit]

Ralph Nader's presidential campaigns[edit]

Ralph Nader[edit]

Anonymous IP 76.87.47.110 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) has restarted the obsessive campaign that blocked-for-six-months 76.166.123.129 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) and indefinitely blocked Telogen (talk · contribs) (see archive) waged against Griot (talk · contribs) and on edit-warring over Ralph Nader and Ralph Nader's presidential campaigns, including the filing of, like the previous edit-warrior, detailed -- and, occasionally physically impossible -- claims about the evilness of Griot and her perceived enemies. [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]Calton | Talk 16:50, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The current IP's edit includes being blocked in November for sockpuppeting -- oh, the irony -- and comes from the same ISP as the blocked-for-6-months IP 76.166.123.129 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) aka the now-blocked Telogen (talk · contribs) aka The Nervous Mermaid (talk · contribs) (see also here), pursuing a years-long edit war on Ralph Nader and against User:Griot specifically.

The IP seems to have picked up an ally (Boodlesthecat (talk · contribs)) echoing the charges nearly verbatim and in essentially the same places [7] [8] [9] and which began editing roughly the time Telogen was banned. And while the editing interests don't align perfectly, given Telogen's history of mixing sockpuppet edits with IP edits while claiming they're not connected, I'd say this deserves a closer examination. --Calton | Talk 16:50, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey kids, I think the rule is that when this turns out to be nonsense, I'm entitled to a free box of donuts from whoever files a bogus complaint against me. Make mine a Krispy Kreme, please. Boodlesthecat (talk) 01:58, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And if it turns out you're carrying water for an obsessive and long-banned troll and self-promoter, what does Wikipedia get? Perhaps an end to edit-warring, forum-shopping, and childish insults, perhaps? My guess is: no. --Calton | Talk 02:29, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmmm, are you perhaps the wagering type....? aww skip it, just please make sure the donuts are fresh!! Boodlesthecat (talk) 03:57, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Kid, I don't play games with edit-warriors. So no, you're not getting any doughnuts. --Calton | Talk 06:35, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So you've concluded I've been falsely accused of being a sock puppet of 76.87.47.110 (talk · contribs · WHOIS)--Krispy Kreme please. Boodlesthecat (talk) 14:00, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Kid, sticking your fingers in your ears and humming to yourself is NOT a valid method of communication. Have you thought of getting a job with the White House? --Calton | Talk 14:19, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Boodles, don't worry, I'll send you some of mine, and Calton can't have any. Chocolate, plain or marble? 76.87.47.110 (talk) 09:34, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Since she's been indefinitely blocked, already, Boodlesthecat is going to have to buy his own doughnuts. --Calton | Talk 14:19, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
C.mon, bogus complaint against me = donuts. That was the agreement. Gimme donuts! Boodlesthecat (talk) 15:35, 8 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Once again, not a complaint, a datapoint. But if you're proud of relying upon and supporting a long-time and abusive sockpuppeteer in your editwarring, there's not much I can do. And what IS your bizarre fixation on doughnuts? --Calton | Talk 02:42, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Boodlesthecat is apparently Red X Unrelated. Thatcher 04:40, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Telogen[edit]

  • Code letter: E.

I have recently filed a request under WP:SSP. I am concerned that IP log/info may be lost. If my request is too soon, please delete/disregard, and I will make it again when it is appropriate.

I am filing this because I am not certain these users are puppeteering. On the Ralph Nader page, there is evidence of possible 3RR violation. Also in the Talk page, suspected puppeteers attempted to sway consensus by supporting each others' position.

11 March 22:36 71.139.27.85 possibly Griot, but that's another issue
12 March 01:19 The Nervous Mermaid (modifies edit by 71.139.27.85)
               Griot rervets to TNM
The Nervous Mermaid reverts rv by Griot
               Talogen adds to infobox
Griot rerverts back to TNMs post (I think)
               76.166.123.129 reverts again to Talogen's (I think)
               71.139.27.85 "authoritative restoration"
... more edits
12 March 06:47 76.166.123.129 rv again

 Confirmed. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 04:07, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Er, I had left this off the "pending" request for a reason, but thanks for confirming. Please see the SSP filing [[10]] before taking action!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Otheus (talkcontribs) 08:40, March 15, 2007

  • Shrug. It showed up on the page, and I acted on it. Don't know how it got into there if you didn't do it here. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 04:21, 16 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
