September 30[edit]

The Munsters(TV)[edit]

What was Gomez' occupation? The pinstripe suits make me think possibly a Banker or Lawyer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Waniak (talkcontribs) 00:32, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Gomez was from The Addams Family, of course, not The Munsters. Our article says he got rich from investments; there's no reference, but since he lays about all day, it's not likely he got rich from working hard. Given the family history, he may also have inherited some wealth. Matt Deres (talk) 01:04, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Just for the sake of completeness, the patriarch of the Munsters, Herman Munster, worked in a funeral home. --Jayron32 03:31, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
So Gomez is one of the rich "small business owners" in the US who will "create jobs" if only their taxes and government regulations are minimized? Edison (talk) 05:53, 30 September 2011 (UTC)\[reply]
I wasn't aware he ran a business. Owning investments is not quite the same as owning a business unless he owns enough shares to be relevant at shareholder meetings. Googlemeister (talk) 13:55, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Um, Googlemeister, see wikt:facetious to understand Edison's answer. --Jayron32 21:04, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I googled [Gomez Addams occupation], and this[1] is an item that seems to answer the question, from answers.yahoo 4 years ago or so. Curiosly, it makes the same point as here: "Don't confuse Addams and Munsters." ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 03:34, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Tell that to these people. -- Jack of Oz [your turn] 11:07, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If you look at our article on Gomez Addams, it indicates that he is a successful investor with controlling interests in businesses around the world. He is also a lawyer, though it is not clear to what extent he tries cases. John M Baker (talk) 21:56, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hip Hop musicians in Spain[edit]

Does Spain have its own hip hop musicians? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.31.23.85 (talk) 03:21, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Spanish hip hop groups has some English language articles on a few hip hop artists from Spain, and if you read Spanish, This page from es.wikipedia has a bunch more. --Jayron32 03:28, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

See also: Spanish hip hop. The Spanish article is better if you can read it. μηδείς (talk) 03:33, 30 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
