The result of the discussion was delete. -- Tavix (talk) 16:56, 12 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect should be deleted because it is a typo, not a misspelling (cf. Finalnd). Mast303 (talk) 05:01, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak disambiguate per WP:XY and redirect to RCIE, as an ambiguous term. MusiBedrock (talk) 07:30, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: The page "RCIE" does not exist, so Rcie should be deleted. Mast303 (talk) 23:26, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom, as an uncommon misspelling. I honestly don't understand what MusiBedrock seems to be proposing above. Disambiguating a misspelling is rarely a good idea, and retargeting to RCIE wouldn't work because it doesn't exist. CycloneYoris talk! 21:09, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per Cyclone. Mdewman6 (talk) 21:53, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Keep as "rice" is a four-letter word, and simple word typos will be more known. And we don't want to waste people's time by having to fix their search term by swapping out the letters. WPchanger2011 (talk) 22:28, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@WPchanger2011: Please see the RFD discussion for Finalnd. It says that intentional misspellings make good redirects, but typos do not. Mast303 (talk) 01:04, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak delete per WP:REDLINK I see the point as a plausible misspelling but my Google Searches show that organizations with the RCIE acronym seems to be the likely targets. --Lenticel (talk) 03:44, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: The redirect Rcie may meet one or more criteria for speedy deletion, including R3. 18:35, 29 January 2023 (UTC) Mast303 (talk) 18:35, 29 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Reply: simple word typos are more common and are more likely to be noticable. So it could be a plausible typo. WPchanger2011 (talk) 23:53, 1 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It does not meet R3, it was not recently created. -- Tavix (talk) 02:14, 2 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete We can't waste time and space on every single misspelling of common words, a normal person is able to realize that they've spelled it wrong and search for the correct word next time.★Trekker (talk) 16:33, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per above - typo does not make good redirect. InterstellarGamer12321 (talk | edits) 14:12, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Retarget to Israeli Americans#Demographics. Delete Israeli immigration to South Florida Jay 💬 19:18, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect target has no information at all about the subject (South Florida isn't even mentioned, and while Los Angeles is mentioned, it is not in relation to Israel). Sending readers to articles which contain no info on the topic is not helpful. Fram (talk) 09:08, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

No mention at the target. I have no idea what this is supposed to refer to. I propose deletion. Veverve (talk) 12:58, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • delete seems to be one of his pseudonym per Lexicon pseudonymorum. However, unless justified with a better source, I think this is an obscure synonym/ pseudonym. --Lenticel (talk) 09:05, 4 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it necessarily meets any of the WP:RDEL criteria but I can't see a reason for this redirect to exist. This is a professional baseball player who was not a highly regarded prospect and only played three seasons of minor league baseball. I would say he faded into obscurity after that but he never rose out of it in the first place. Dennis C. Abrams (talk) 02:51, 3 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
