An WP:IAR early close and a WP:JUSTDOIT sort of situation, considering that the resolution is clearly helpful ... and this resolution was the intent when this redirect was created as the result of a page move in 2010.   • Comment: I glanced at Haakon (given name) and the related pages Håkan and Hakon. There are a few dozen notable people with those names, although it appears that Haakon, Crown Prince of Norway is the only such person who is the eighth of their name.     You're right in that there has been no Haakon VIII anywhere, but that's not the issue with the redirect. The issue is it's a name the subject has never used, is not widely (or, ever) referred to as (officially or unofficially) and there's no guarantee he ever will use it, even if it seems highly likely to us.
