Not mentioned at the target, online search results suggest that there are other artists who would be contenders for this title. Delete unless evidence that this unambiguously refers to XXXTentacion (or an alternative target) can be provided. signed, Rosguill talk 19:08, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Emmaus (disambiguation). (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 05:53, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The term is not mentioned there except a brief reference to the Emaus Abbey in Prague (which does not have an article). This could be a disambig, for example there is a pl:Emaus (odpust) festival, pl and de wikis have a disambig (pl:Emaus, de:Emaus). But unless someone creates one for English, as a redirect, this seems rather misleading. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 16:13, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This is a straight recreation as a redirect of a page that was just deleted at AFD, where redirecting was discussed as an option but dismissed in favour of outright deletion since the subject did not (unlike all others in the list) have an FIG listing and was not the only Matthias Logelin. The recreator should have sought a DELREV of the deletion discussion if they wished to overturn the result to redirection. FOARP (talk) 11:07, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

WP:CHEAP was raised in the AFD discussion but not accepted as a reason to redirect. You are trying to reverse the result of the consensus at the AFD discussion via the back door. FOARP (talk) 11:28, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And you are being disruptive by the back door by removing the info from the list of men's artistic gymnasts page. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 11:35, 14 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Distance education. Jay (talk) 10:02, 23 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

In my opinion, these titles, along with Online learning, mainly refer to Distance education, particularly the recent subset of distance education that is online. I think this might be the primary topic, however, maybe others disagree. Do these terms refer to online technology that may be used while students are physically in a classroom? Is there a difference between the meaning of these terms? —Lights and freedom (talk ~ contribs) 04:03, 30 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Rapido Trains[edit]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Rapido. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 10:41, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Rapido Trains is a Canadian model train manufacturer. Arnold Rapido is a brand previously used by the German model train manufacturer Arnold but I believe no longer used. I I do not believe "Rapido Trains" was ever used as a brand by Arnold. I believe most people searching for "Rapido Trains" will be looking for the Canadian manufacturer, and so in the absence of a page for them "Rapido Trains" should redirect to the "Rapido" disambiguation page which lists the Canadian manufacturer, as well as providing a link to the page on Arnold for those looking for it. --Eldomtom2 (talk) 20:23, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Retarget to Rapido. This is likely a notable topic, but for the moment the best solution is to point to the disambig until such time that someone decides to start an article under this name. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 13:17, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Prefixes and suffixes in Hebrew[edit]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Modern Hebrew grammar. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 10:39, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think delete because suffixes in Hebrew exists, or redirect to Modern Hebrew grammar § Prepositions QuickQuokka [talkcontribs] 20:00, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Modern Hebrew grammar where both prefixes and suffixes are discussed throughout the article. I will add hatnotes at that sectionlinks in the "see also" section to the two specific articles (and remove the link to this redirect there). At first glance it looks like a textbook WP:XY situation, but upon digging there originally was an article at this title that was WP:SPLIT into the two extant articles. The history is a little confusing probably because of a copy/paste move. There was an attempt to turn this into a disambiguation page which was eventually WP:PRODed and then WP:BLARed to its current target. In any case, this should be kept for its page history and for keep any old links intact, particularly external ones. Mdewman6 (talk) 23:54, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Mdewman6. WP:XY is not a reason to make it harder for people to find content about subjects that are frequently and reasonably covered together when we happen to cover them separately, and this is doubly true when we previously covered them together. Armenian prisoners[edit]

Not sure why we would assume that this phrase refers to POWs in the most recent war when it could easily refer to prisons in Armenia or Armenian prisoners in other conflicts/contexts. I think that deletion to allow for internal search results is most appropriate here. signed, Rosguill talk 19:08, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Rosguill: what do you think of the retarget suggestion? Jay (talk) 07:05, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Eh, I don't think it would be a disaster, but given the lack of information other than the locations and names of the prisons (i.e. no information about prisoners) I'm not sure it's an improvement over deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 15:18, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Unclear whether someone who types this is looking for war prisoners or criminal prisoners, and neither topic has a a good article-space target (current target is too narrow for the "war prisoners" meaning, and list of correctional facilities in Armenia has no information about prisoners besides their total number). Search results at least show individual notable prisoners (of both types) as well as the current target, which is better than pointing to any individual article. 61.239.39.90 (talk) 02:09, 24 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom and 61.239.39.90. This is a vague term; whatever its target (to the above I could add Category:Armenian prisoners and detainees), it doesn't follow any existing pattern that I can see for such redirects – we shouldn't be giving readers a search strategy that's only going to work in a single case. – Uanfala (talk) 23:46, 26 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't seem to make sense to have an adjective/adverb form of this word be here for the term "broadhead" when broadhead is a noun with no sensible way to be refer to by an adjective/adverb form. Basically, these redirects are some misleading search optimization that could have been nipped in the bud with WP:X1 if these were noticed a few years ago. Seems there was content at this title for about half a year in 2006 prior to a WP:BLAR. Either way, the phrase "English Warbow" or any of its capitalization variants do not appear in the target article, leaving readers not finding what they are looking for if they are searching for this precise topic.
