October 2[edit]
This is a list of redirects that have been proposed for deletion or other action on October 2, 2021.
Catboy[edit]
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
This should target Catgirl or be disambiguated. I think targeting Boyd Terry is somewhat WP:ASTONISHing to readers who are likely searching for information on the male version of catgirls. Elli (talk | contribs) 19:14, 2 October 2021 (UTC)
- Retarget to Catgirl as the primary topic, although a sentence along the lines of "Male characters with feline traits are referred to as catboys" should probably be inserted into the target article. Throw a hatnote in as well. Mlb96 (talk) 05:01, 3 October 2021 (UTC)
- Retarget to Catgirl: This is the main subject. ―Susmuffin Talk 11:00, 4 October 2021 (UTC)

Cornel Campbell[edit]
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- The result of the discussion was wrong venue. This is a request to change an article's title, which is out-of-scope for RfD. @Jrabbit05: If you would like to move the article to Cornel Campbell, please follow the steps at Wikipedia:Requested moves#Requesting controversial and potentially controversial moves. - Cornel Campbell → Cornell Campbell (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
This living person spells their name with one L in the first name. (See article & talk page for background) jrabbit05 (talk) 17:19, 2 October 2021 (UTC)
- What are you proposing here? His real name is Cornel, but he appears on most of his releases as Cornell. Do we go with the most common spelling or what he states is the correct spelling? Either way, the other should be a redirect. --Michig (talk) 17:22, 2 October 2021 (UTC)

Delete per WP:RFD#D2 confusing, not at target. There are redirects for other spelling variants such as Bidun and Bidoon, but I've failed to find any sources (RS or not) for this one, and I think it's too far away to be a typo or mispronunciation. 85.67.32.244 (talk) 15:30, 2 October 2021 (UTC)
- Delete. Not a likely misspelling or transliteration of بدون Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 07:09, 5 October 2021 (UTC)

Mitsubshi Airtrek EV[edit]
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
Delete as implausible typo created by Hondamase. Mitsubishi Airtrek EV already exists for that. This user has also created articles/redirects with (probably unintentional) typos such as Mistubishi L series (yes, "Mistubishi"). 114.10.9.143 (talk) 06:42, 2 October 2021 (UTC)
- Delete: I probably should have just nominated it for deletion in the first place rather than redirecting. Next time, I will. - Sumanuil (talk) 21:25, 2 October 2021 (UTC)

Tonfoen[edit]
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- Tonfoen → Tonfön (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
- Tonfoen Television → Tonfön Television (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
As the first redirect's target says, "[t]he umlaut on the second 'o' [of Tonfön] is not pronounced, but is purely for effect," which might be why these Eubot umlaut redirects (not quite heavy metal, but similar) aren't used a lot nowadays. I'm thinking we should delete them unless a justification can be provided. Regards, SONIC678 05:11, 2 October 2021 (UTC)
- Delete this inadvertent Eubot error. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 07:10, 5 October 2021 (UTC)

Toyota Noah (AH30)[edit]
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- Toyota Noah (AH30) → Toyota Avanza#F650 (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Delete, as the "AH30" model code is being used by Toyota Alphard (AH30), not Noah. The target article is also incorrect. 114.10.9.143 (talk) 02:53, 2 October 2021 (UTC)
Delete. Looks like I made a cut and paste error when I created this redirect. Current Noah uses the R platform code (see https://toyota.jp/pages/contents/noah/003_p_008/4.0/pdf/spec/noah_spec_202004.pdf ). Alphard uses the AH30 platofrm code (see https://toyota.jp/pages/contents/alphard/003_p_009/4.0/pdf/spec/alphard_spec_202104.pdf ). Replaced by Toyota Noah (R80). - @Stepho-wrs: you can take it WP:CSD#G7. 85.67.32.244 (talk) 04:57, 4 October 2021 (UTC)
- I've tagged it, linking to this diff. @85.67, just so you know, to fix a broken ping it doesn't work to just change the {{ping}} template after the fact. See Help:Fixing failed pings for more information. Personally, though, I find the easiest thing is a dummy edit with an edit-summary ping. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 05:01, 4 October 2021 (UTC)

- Repentance (theology) → Repentance (Christianity) (talk · links · history · stats) [ Closure: keep/retarget/delete ]
Retarget to Repentance. —2001:16A2:EA92:8100:40CD:1963:6A72:BF04 (talk) 02:47, 2 October 2021 (UTC)
- Retarget to Repentance: This is the general topic for the concept. ―Susmuffin Talk 11:07, 4 October 2021 (UTC)
- Retarget to Repentance which discusses theological use. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 07:11, 5 October 2021 (UTC)
- Retarget to Repentance per everyone above, and remove the relevant hatnote from Repentance (Christianity). Repentance discusses several more theological uses than just Christianity (e.g., Judaism, Islam, Buddhism), and although the redirect has pointed to the Christian target for almost eight years, Christianity isn't the only religion that concerns the practice of repenting for one's sins.
