The result of the discussion was delete. Foreign language redirect with no obvious link to the topic. ~ mazca talk 22:58, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Korean language redirect to non-Korean subject. Dominicmgm (talk) 23:35, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Voobly[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. While possibly linked, participants do not feel this is worth a redirect given the lack of mention in the target. ~ mazca talk 23:00, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This appears to be the name of an online gaming platform. Not mentioned at the target. Delete unless a justification can be provided. signed, Rosguill talk 19:58, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. Agreed it needs to be described/sourced at Age of Empires or Age or Empires II first as a prominent server/platform. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 17:55, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Racism in Armenia[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. There is a strong consensus that the redirect title is far too broad to warrant such a specific target. ~ mazca talk 22:59, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

While ostensibly related, these terms are not equivalent. Deletion to allow for search results seems preferable here. signed, Rosguill talk 19:51, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Support. "Racism in Armenia" is too ambiguous and doesn't really feel right that it'd only redirect to Anti-Turkism. — CuriousGolden (T·C) 19:55, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support. per nom.Paradise Chronicle (talk) 20:15, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Anti-Turkism is a specific form of Racism, and redirecting a general term to an article on a specific example is unlikely to be helpful in my view. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 02:53, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per 86.23.109.101. There are occasions when redirecting a general term to a more specific one is helpful, but this is not one of those occasions. Thryduulf (talk) 04:11, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete far to broad since it’s highly unlikely that Turks are the only group to experience racism in Armenia.--65.92.160.124 (talk) 04:15, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

English nation[edit]

The result of the discussion was withdraw. (non-admin closure) Soumya-8974 (he) talk contribs subpages 08:42, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Retarget to England as alternative term. Soumya-8974 (he) talk contribs subpages 15:07, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No, conflating a people with a country is clearly not appropriate. The current redirect is correct. (Typical of the slapdash, uncomprehending approach of this editor, I have come to appreciate.) Mutt Lunker (talk) 15:57, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. From the very first clause of the first sentence of the target article "The English people are an ethnic group and a nation native to England". The nominator appears to have confused a nation (a group of people) with a country (an area of land). 86.23.109.101 (talk) 02:58, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm guessing it was the name of an episode, but it's not mentioned in the target article. Dominicmgm (talk) 14:42, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It was a plot element in a book. -- Zanimum (talk) 00:23, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete fictional event from non-notable Sesame Street book that doesn't even have its own page or section.. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 18:00, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

How Crayons Are Made[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete. signed, Rosguill talk 17:58, 8 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in target article. Dominicmgm (talk) 14:37, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Tentatively delete this. Other shows like Reading Rainbow and How It's Made have covered this topic. This also might run afoul of WP:NOTFAQ, and this question might be better left for search engines. Regards, SONIC678 05:50, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as ambiguous and potentially confusing. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 14:49, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, since having each word capitalized implies it's a book or some media title. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 17:58, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible typo. Gets barely any views. Dominicmgm (talk) 14:36, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete as implausible. I think it unlikely someone would forget both a letter and the space while searching for this. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 03:00, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak keep - I don't think this is as implausible as one might think, as sesam is the word for sesame in several other European languages that also don't normally have spaces between adjectives directly modifying nouns - see the Dutch Sesamstraat or German Sesamstraße. Assuming the English version follows the same pattern is potentially quite an easy mistake to make. ~ mazca talk 12:28, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I think that a half dutch/german half english redirect would still count as implausible. Also it got 2 page views in the last 3 months so it doesn't seem to be getting any use. 86.23.109.101 (talk) 13:28, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. This does get a surprising amount of use in google hits, but the significant majority of them are in strings of tags and keywords intended to attract search results for any conceivable term including typos and the like and the majority of those that are not are in non-English (mainly but not exclusively German) contexts. Combined with the page views this does not indicate this is a useful search term on the English Wikipedia. Thryduulf (talk) 14:40, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as implausible multiple typo (no e, no space). Not the shorthand for a hashtag for the show. AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 17:57, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Can't see any mention of this on the target page. While this is one of the race tracks in the game, I don't think we need to have a redirect for every track in the game. – numbermaniac 14:33, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

There is no list of episodes at the target, and presumably from Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Nostalgia Critic episodes (3rd nomination), there shouldn't be one. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 08:01, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In addition to both the UFC on ESPN 18: Blaydes vs. Lewis and UFC on ESPN 19: Hermansson vs. Holland redirects, this redirect should also be deleted for that very same reason. — 29cwcst (talk) 20:20, 24 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
