The result of the discussion was delete. signed, Rosguill talk 17:19, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Procedural nomination on behalf of Lovewhatyoudo (talk · contribs); an AFD was opened containing the rationale Beijing bikini is summer street attire among some older Beijing men. Hardly "Chinese culture". "Beijing bikini" is not mentioned in the target article. power~enwiki (π, ν) 23:20, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete, Misleading since this is not mentioned at the target. Also this should be redlinked to encourage the creation of a possible article as per Lovewhatyoudo's rationale at AfD. CycloneYoris talk! 08:06, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible misspelling. We do not have the redirect "Tphoon", so this is only mention of "tphoon" in enwiki. However, "tphoon" could also be a mispelling of teaspoon. Seventyfiveyears (talk) 22:19, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Utica Bulldogs/Blizzard[edit]

Delete per WP:XY. No sources directly link these two teams, and actually seems to be separate entities. It seems Utica Bulldogs was mistakenly redirected to Blizzard in 2008. I have since merged the Bulldogs content into the Flint Bulldogs and corrected the redirect, but this odd redirect is XY. Yosemiter (talk) 21:10, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Philadelphians. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 20:53, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Misspelled, but more importantly is as likely to refer to people from Philadelphia as it is to this minor league team. I'd suggest deletion. signed, Rosguill talk 17:57, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Non-avian[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. signed, Rosguill talk 19:20, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. "Non-avian" is just a term that means "not bird". It is only ever used when paired with a term like "dinosaur", to make, for example, "non-avian dinosaur", i.e. any dinosaur that is not a bird. This article was created to redirect to the Theropoda article, but there is no logic to this connection; Theropoda is just a group of dinosaurs that includes birds and most predatory dinosaurs. This article has no reasonable other place to redirect to, and should be deleted as Wikipedia is not a dictionary. Zigongosaurus1138 (talk) 17:07, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Serbo-Croatia[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep, with no prejudice against turning it into its own disambiguation page. -- JHunterJ (talk) 14:13, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible misspelling. Could also mean Yugoslavia. Soumya-8974 talk contribs subpages 12:18, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. This is the exact opposite of an implausible misspelling. If further disambiguation is needed, then do that. Need for more disambig templates is not a deletion rationale. This has been extensively discussed before; see Talk:Serbo-Croatia.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  14:22, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Seems quite helpful, like SMcCandlish says at Talk:Serbo-Croatia it seems very plausible that someone who sees Serbo-Croatian might assume that a region named "Serbo-Croatia" existed. Any reason this would be referring to Yugoslavia? – Thjarkur (talk) 19:52, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per SMcC's comments at Talk:Serbo-Croatia. This definitely isn't an implausible misspelling. J947messageedits 20:56, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per above. It's a plausible misspelling, so where is the proof of deleting this redirect? Seventyfiveyears (talk) 22:16, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • ...it isn't a misspelling though... J947messageedits 22:45, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Do not keep. There are plenty of uses of the term out there in the wild [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]. Some may be erroneous, but many aren't. The intended meaning is Serbia + Croatia, in either mediaeval or modern contexts, either as political or as geographic or cultural region. I would imagine this should be covered somewhere, but I can't find a suitable article (though I haven't searched thoroughly). If nothing comes up, then deletion per XY or redirecting to Serbo-Croatian (disambiguation) are viable options. – Uanfala (talk) 00:10, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • or redirecting to Serbo-Croatian (disambiguation): that's where the redirect is targeted right now. J947messageedits 01:18, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
      • Thank you for correcting my silly mistake. Yes, I probably shouldn't do Wikipedia so late at night again :) Though I don't think keeping the current target is the best option: at the very least, this dab page lists only a single viable entry, the rest are all clear WP:PTMs, so it probably shouldn't exist. – Uanfala (talk) 09:07, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per J947 and SMcCandlish. This looks like another failure to do a proper WP:BEFORE. Thryduulf (talk) 02:44, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per everyone above and per the discussion at Talk:Serbo-Croatia. CycloneYoris talk! 08:12, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Neither the target article nor Hummer has the text "H0" so this redirect should be deleted as confusing. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 07:58, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It is not clear why this redirects here: the target article does not contain "horrid", with the letter O, or "h0rrid", with a zero, or any expression beginning "h0...". Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 07:54, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Shani Haider and Shani Arshad are different singers, and it's not clear why one's name should point to the other. M Imtiaz (talk · contribs) 04:03, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Article seems to have been originally about Haider [9]Thjarkur (talk) 19:57, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps, but it isn't at the moment. It is confusing, though, that someone would move the article to the other singer's name and rewrite it to be about him. M Imtiaz (talk · contribs) 20:41, 15 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
