Tapology[edit]

A reader is probably more likely to be looking for http://www.tapology.org/. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 18:18, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak delete. It's unlikely, but mildly plausible as a misspelling. But given the use pointed out in the nomination, it might be better to have this as an intentional red link (there are a couple existing incorrect links to it). Side note, @1234qwer1234qwer4: the creator of this made a lot of equally questionable redirects you might be interested in checking out. –Deacon Vorbis (carbon • videos) 19:22, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. We have no way of knowing whether a user is looking for topology, mixed martial arts, or tap dancing, and it doesn't seem to be worth hatnotes and dab pages. Open to reconsideration if either tapology dot org (tap dancing) or tapology dot com (MMA) becomes notable enough for an article. --Trovatore (talk) 20:09, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. This is ambiguous and may cause confusion. Uninhibited Search is better. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 16:48, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Apple sticker etc[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete. signed, Rosguill talk 20:53, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Delete similar to kiwi sticker at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2020 August 16#Kiwi sticker (I'm not sure that a price look-up code is known as a "kiwi sticker", or that a kiwi sticker is a price look-up code). Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 07:01, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete: Implausible search terms. Aasim 15:54, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete I would say that "Apple sticker" commonly refers to stickers of the Apple logo which come in product boxes. - CHAMPION (talk) (contributions) (logs) 23:46, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    Like this one
  • Keep - I can't imagine many people knowing to search for Price look-up code. Admittedly these may be slightly ambiguous, but I find it highly implausible that anyone would go searching "fruit sticker" (except maybe for Apple) without this being what they are looking for, and I disagree that such a search is implausible. The result of the discussion was delete. --BDD (talk) 15:47, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned at the target. Searching online, Alejandrino appears to have won a company award at Supermalls [1]. While it's not impossible that this award may be notable (given the coverage that it apparently gets in major Filipino newspapers), it's unlikely to be due for inclusion at the target. Delete, either due to lack of mention or on WP:R#DELETE #10 grounds. signed, Rosguill talk 17:47, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. Enwiki has several mentions of Cheridel Alejandrino and in this case Search is much better than a redirect. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 16:50, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. Long-standing project namespace redirect which has targeted its current target (minus random vandalism and unproductive edits) for almost 14 years. Steel1943 (talk) 17:28, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep: No valid reason for deletion. 1234qwer1234qwer4 (talk) 17:45, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned at target. Best to just delete redirect. (Subject is not included in "List of Cork City F.C. players". Because subject was/is not a player with the football club. Subject was chairperson. Subject doesn't meet any other notability criteria. And so, at one point, a related stub/malformed DAB was converted to a redirect. While that action may have been the simplest action at the time, am not sure it should remain in place. As it results in an EASTEREGG. Having nothing at that title is better than having an inappropriate redirect.) Guliolopez (talk) 12:49, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

While there is no problem with redirects from draft to mainspace, this redirect was made by one of the IPs from the range 186.111.128.0/20 (now blocked for three months due to disrputive editing). Two IPs from the range 186.111.128.0/0 was investigated for being sockpuppets of the blocked user Bedriczwaleta, so this was possibly made in evasion of a block. • Delete. Appears to be leetspeak for "leetspeak", an alternative title for the target. Doesn't appear to be common enough to warrant a redirect. --Paul_012 (talk) 20:24, 25 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Meta:Global bans#Criteria for global bans. signed, Rosguill talk 20:50, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think this should redirect to meta:Global bans especially when it claims to be redirecting to a page about Cross-wiki abuse. While global bans are a response to cross-wiki abuse, they are not the same thing. This is like if WP:Vandalism-only account redirected to WP:blocking policy. —Naddruf (talk ~ contribs) 01:42, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
