The result of the discussion was delete. signed, Rosguill talk 22:28, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Delete redirect of an actor whose target article is a character that that actor portrayed. I considered converting the redirect into an article of its own, but I don't think that would pass WP:GNG. —Matthew - (talk) 19:48, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. The actor is not notable, and the term is potentially ambiguous. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 12:40, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hispanic Christian[edit]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Hispanic#Religion. (non-admin closure) Mdaniels5757 (talk) 19:33, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The target article is exclusively about Hispanic Christians in the United States, whereas the search term could refer to any Spanish-speaking Christian community. I would suggest deletion due to lack of a more suitable target. signed, Rosguill talk 19:31, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Martin Marc Cummings[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. Deryck C. 15:29, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Doesn't appear to have any connection to the target. Delete unless a justification can be provided. signed, Rosguill talk 18:13, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. A real person Martin Marc Cummings exists and this redirect is therefore confusing without a mention in the article. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 12:48, 6 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Former communist states[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Communist state#Former communist states. (non-admin closure) Mdaniels5757 (talk) 19:29, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There are far more former communist countries than just those in eastern Europe (e.g. Cambodia, North Vietnam, etc). I suggest retargetting to either List of socialist states#Former socialist states (which would match List of communist countriesList of socialist states) or Communist state#Former communist states. The content in both places is similar but the former is broader and provides more context, but the latter is a closer title match and slightly more specific (although not by that much in practice). My preference is for List of socialist states#Former socialist states, but it's a weak preference. Thryduulf (talk) 16:51, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thomas Jackson (police officer)[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. signed, Rosguill talk 22:28, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is yet another instance where an article was deleted, and then redirected to a related article. It is a highly misleading and confusing practice. As with most other instances, it results in multiple links, in the same sentence, or same paragraph, to Ferguson Police Department (Missouri), once directly, and once through the redirect. The existence of the blue link obfuscates, for good faith contributors who might otherwise work on it, that the article on Thomas Jackson hasn't been written. Going to the same link, twice, confuses readers and makes them think we are repetitive. Until an article about Jackson sits at Thomas Jackson (police officer) it should be a redlink. Geo Swan (talk) 15:27, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. I agree this should be a redlink as to encourage article creation. CycloneYoris talk! 22:12, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep because this is where there is information about this officer. If there are circular or misleading links, the links can be removed. We don't want this to be redlinked because an article has already been deleted twice at AfD. -- Tavix (talk) 22:38, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

These are all Star Wars sets, but the article does not mention these. I didn't nominate Lego X-Wing because it was mentioned, and Lego Millenium Falcon because the article does mention both UCS sets of the vehicle, both of which the article mentions to currently hold world records. OcelotCreeper (talk) 15:20, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. All are too specific and aren't notable enough for the page. Captain Galaxy (talk) 13:38, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Lego trivia not really worth mentioning anywhere. Hog Farm (talk) 22:38, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

These are all specific Lego sets from the Star Wars theme. None of them are mentioned in the article. Delete unless a justification can be proven. OcelotCreeper (talk) 15:04, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. They are all too trivial to keep, and since they don't even appear on the target page then there is no point. Captain Galaxy (talk) 16:44, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete all this junk per nom, these don't appear to be notable enough to keep on Wikipedia, let alone be the subjects of their own articles. Regards, SONIC678 12:30, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

List of characters in Lego Star Wars[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. signed, Rosguill talk 22:24, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

All of these were created referring to the Lego Star Wars games, and neither Lego Star Wars nor any Lego Star Wars game article have a list of characters from the games. Delete unless Wikipedia can redirect to fandom wikis because I am absolutely sure the fandom wikis already have articles of these. OcelotCreeper (talk) 14:50, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. If there are no lists then there's no point plus Wikipedia won't redirect to fandom. Captain Galaxy (talk) 14:57, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete all per WP:VGSCOPE, it shouldn't list unlockable characters, vehicles, costs, etc. Regards, SONIC678 15:08, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Lego stud[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Delete "purple", redirect others to Lego. signed, Rosguill talk 22:24, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Lego studs are a currency in the Lego Star Wars games (with purple studs having the highest value). However, every other Lego Game uses this currency as well. The only useful function I can see for these redirects is if an article mentioning the evolution of Lego games is created. OcelotCreeper (talk) 14:34, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget Since the studs are not unique to just the lego star wars video games, the redirect should be changed to the List of Lego video games as that is the franchise it started from, or should redirect to Lego. Captain Galaxy (talk) 14:51, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget the first two to Lego and delete the second two, per Captain Galaxy. Studs are referenced more generally in the context of Legos—not just video games. And purple studs are not only not specific but could refer to purple bricks or something outside Lego altogether, so those are not very helpful redirects. ComplexRational (talk) 14:07, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget the first two to Lego#Design, which covers Lego studs, the little round things that allow the bricks to attach to each other. No opinion on the coloured redirects. Nyttend (talk) 00:32, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Lego: The Adventures of Clutch Powers. (non-admin closure) Mdaniels5757 (talk) 19:50, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned at target article. However, it is mentioned as a character in Lego: The Adventures of Clutch Powers. Recommend retargeting. OcelotCreeper (talk) 14:09, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mocpages[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete My Own Creation, retarget Mocpages and Mocpages.com to Sean Kenney (artist). signed, Rosguill talk 22:23, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The section it used to redirect to has been deleted and the target article no longer mentions the redirects. However, this search result shows multiple articles that do mention it, one of which is about the guy who created the Mocpages site. Recommend retargeting the Mocpages redirect to that article, but i don't know what to do with My Own Creation. OcelotCreeper (talk) 13:55, 4 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
