Currently, there are ~600 redirects from "Wikipedia:Books/..." to "Books:...", nearly all of which were created ~10 years ago when the Books: namespace was first established. There is no need to retain these cross-namespace redirects: each move is recorded in the page history of the destination page, the redirects are unused (maybe 1–2 pageviews each year), and the Book: prefix is certainly well-established by now. This is a test nomination to gauge support for a follow-up nomination of the remainder of these redirects (except those that contain useful page history). -- Black Falcon (talk) 22:27, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. — Cheers, Steelpillow (Talk) 09:58, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom, and happy to delete the rest too. I don't see any good reason to keep these. PC78 (talk) 02:19, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Z-Knights (Europe)[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete. --BDD (talk) 20:03, 16 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Z-Knights exists already, the "Europe" part isn't mentioned in the targeted article, nor I am sure what it exactly means. Jovanmilic97 (talk) 20:54, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete as an unlikely search string given the unnecessary disambiguator. -- Black Falcon (talk) 22:32, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • It was originally an article about the Z-Knights toy line in Europe until redirected at AfD exactly a decade ago. But as a redirect this doesn't seem useful given the parenthetical, so delete. PC78 (talk) 02:24, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect, which is not written in proper format, should be deleted. The correct formatting, which would be "Attitude (Metallica song)", is already a redirect, so having "Attitude (song)(Metallica)" as a redirect is not only improper but also unnecessary. –Matthew - (talk) 18:40, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. The correct disambiguator already exists, and this is certainly not simpler or recommended in WP:NCDAB. ComplexRational (talk) 19:10, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete:not helpful, not standard, not needed. Lithopsian (talk) 19:29, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom, unhelpful double parenthetical. PC78 (talk) 20:14, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

.io game[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to .io#Usage. — JJMC89(T·C) 00:18, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'm thinking that it is best to retarget this redirect to .io or simply delete the redirect; the target is one of many in a long list of .io games, and the current situation of redirecting a broad subject to an entry within it doesn't seem like the best course of action. Maybe it's fine as is and I'm wrong, but the redirect may cause confusion for somebody looking for information about online multiplayer .io games before being sent to an article about one. Utopes (talk) 17:58, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to .io#Usage, where the usage of .io for video games is mentioned in the broader context (though it would be even clearer if expanded). ComplexRational (talk) 19:15, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to .io#Usage per ComplexRational.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 15:17, 3 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Did not release in 2014 Kailash29792 (talk) 12:48, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. Not clear from the article if filming actually commenced but it appears the film was never completed, much less released. The article itself looks like it should be redirected or merged. PC78 (talk) 20:18, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in target. Not sure what, if any, is the connection. (There may have been some common ownership at one time). Recommend delete to make this a redlink. MB 01:59, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I created the redirect back in 2013 to point to Sun-Times Media Group; it was changed by Jauerback in 2013 to point to Chicago Tribune with the comment "sold last year". Looking around WP I find that Tribune Publishing includes Aurora Beacon in its current holdings. On the web https://www.chicagotribune.com/suburbs/aurora-beacon-news/ is located on the Chicago Tribune website. I suggest Aurora Beacon and its synonyms point to Tribune Publishing, for now, until the moguls shift the chairs... DadaNeem (talk) 08:33, 2 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
