The result of the discussion was speedy deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by E to the Pi times i (talkcontribs) 16:19, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Nominated for deletion. The name is misleading and suggests there is a sandbox at the title; the page appears to have been created as a test. This is the only /sandbox template soft redirect. eπi (talk | contribs) 22:46, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • I realized it was eligible for speedy deletion under G2 and it was deleted accordingly. eπi (talk | contribs) 16:18, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Delete Cross-namespace redirect that does not meet the high bar for justified existence in the article space. UnitedStatesian (talk) 21:02, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not discussed at target.  — Mr. Guye (talk) (contribs)  20:30, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Misleading redirect, to an article concerning how Christianity inspired antisemitism. Not that it opposed it. Dimadick (talk) 04:41, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per Dimadick. Arguably also a case of WP:R#DELETE #10. signed, Rosguill talk 06:13, 7 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - per above. CAPTAIN MEDUSA (talk) 17:46, 9 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Pericle[edit]

The result of the discussion was index. That covers the sentiment that it shouldn't target Pericles and that it should include information on those with the name. -- Tavix (talk) 14:08, 13 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Why does this redirect to Pericles? Does the name actually appear as such in some languages, or is this a result of an erroneous attempt to create redirects to plural forms (which this is not)? Paul_012 (talk) 08:07, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. -- Tavix (talk) 14:03, 13 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Probably a hoax. The term was inserted at the target here. While it's possible that it was a very local term, I suspect that false information was smuggled in under cover of a reasonable edit -- only citogenesis found. ~Hydronium~Hydroxide~(Talk)~ 08:06, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Google has no appropriate hits, and even the Urban Dictionary has no idea what it is.[2] I appreciate that UD is not exactly reliable, but given the nickname (assuming that's what it is) one would expect UD to be a good place to find a definition. Delete from me. Chaheel Riens (talk) 08:20, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

HRH Queen Elizabeth II[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep. (non-admin closure) B dash (talk) 01:51, 13 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I don't even know what the purpose of having this redirect is. The term is technically wrong. A monarch is referred to as His/Her Majesty, while Royal Highness (HRH) is preserved for other members of the royal family. I think having this redirect only causes confusion, and as far as I know we don't have anything similar to it for other monarchs. Keivan.fTalk 03:27, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: Had two incoming links, which I've fixed; also just tagged as r from incorrect name. --Paul_012 (talk) 08:11, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep: It has had incoming links, and that sees real world usage often enough. The tagging makes the incorrectness clear. ~Hydronium~Hydroxide~(Talk)~ 08:15, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Redirects do not have to be correct, simply useful search terms. This is a mistake used on many sources, and so is a very likely search term (it got nearly 1 hit a day last year on average, , so the redirect takes people to the correct article. Thryduulf (talk) 12:54, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per WP:CHEAP and the fact that's it's useful even though it contains an incorrect part. That's why we've {{r from incorrect name}}} – Ammarpad (talk) 05:09, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
