The result of the discussion was retarget to Anonymity#Anonymity on the Internet. ~ Amory (utc) 16:07, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The target article is unclear on what this redirect refers to as the word "traffic" is not present in the target article. Steel1943 (talk) 20:16, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in target article. Due to lack of mention, this term could possibly WP:SURPRISE readers attemption to find information about primitive sponge animals. Steel1943 (talk) 19:57, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unclear what the "1" is meant to represent, and thus is misleading and possibly WP:COSTLY. Steel1943 (talk) 19:48, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Testbook is the name of a company about which an article was created here previously, now at Draft:Testbook (company). There is no mention of the company at the destination page, Educational technology. The only value to this redirect would be to create a link in someone's mind between the name of the company and the concept of educational technology. Largoplazo (talk) 15:07, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - A non-notable company name is not a logical redirect to so broad an article. Noting from Draft:Testbook that the equation of Testbook to Educational technology was generated by a (properly disclosed) paid employee of the company.
  • Delete per nom. I can consolidate the drafts AngusWOOF (barksniff) 17:36, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Textbook and tag with {{R from typo}}. They sound similar if you say "textbook" sloppily, and the keys are adjacent with a QWERTY keyboard. Nyttend (talk) 18:30, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. I oppose "retarget to Textbook" since the existence of multiple drafts seems to prove that redirecting this elsewhere as a {{R from misspelling}} is not advised since this specific spelling could represent a different topic, so thus redirecting to Textbook could be seen as a WP:SURPRISE. In addition, disregarding the subject in the drafts, I would have thought this spelling would represent a subject about a book of tests. Steel1943 (talk) 19:40, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You-Know-Who[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Placeholder name. ~ Amory (utc) 16:10, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Delete Back in 2008 a similar redirect was deleted, click here to see what I'm talking about. This is a similar redirect that should be deleted for the same reason. You Know Who is so vague and can apply to a lot of different things, it's not exclusive to Voldemort therefore it's not a useful redirect. Blaze The Movie Fan (talk) 12:32, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Steel1943, that's not a longstanding thing; I just retargeted it today. It was previously a Wiktionary redirect. Nyttend (talk) 01:00, 25 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • I agree with it either way. Either that, or delete the lot of them. I oppose "keep". Steel1943 (talk) 01:22, 25 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. Unopposed ~ Amory (utc) 17:00, 4 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The Coolpad Note 5 cellular phone does not seem to be covered locally. If this device is not covered locally and was covered at Commons, then this might be a reasonable redirect. However, this currently targets a category at commons that contains pictures that were captured using this device, making it an inappropriate target. — Godsy (TALKCONT) 12:03, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading redirect. You would expect a portal, not a wikiproject. --woodensuperman 12:00, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. Unopposed ~ Amory (utc) 16:15, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Seems confusing as "Krabbs" is spelled wrong, and the title is a WP:PTM as it is missing the "5!" at the end. That, and Pearl Krabs aka Caller 5! already exists. Steel1943 (talk) 01:57, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

After looking around for a while on third-party engines, I'm not able to find any evidence that this was the name of a episode of Two and a Half Men, nor am I able to find any connection to the aforementioned subject at all except for the mention of this being a {{R from quote}}; however, if the quote was notable enough, one would think that there would be more information about it on third party search engines. The Avengers (group)[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Avenger. (non-admin closure) Catrìona (talk) 19:52, 25 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Neither "Nakam" (revenge) nor its Hebrew acronym, "DIN" (the blood of Israel avenges) actually means "The Avengers". A number of Jewish partisan groups in Eastern Europe were called "The Avengers", and some of them are probably notable, so this should be a redlink. Catrìona (talk) 00:48, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I think that, if the redirect is to be retargeted, Avenger (a dab page) would be a better choice, because there is no clear PRIMARYTOPIC given the profusion of comics, movies etc. Catrìona (talk) 17:16, 24 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
