"Я" is not "Ia" in the name Toys "Я" Us; it's not Russian. HotdogPi 20:45, 4 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The Indo-Aryan languages are from being the only entity that has "western" or "eastern" zones (with either capitalisation). Of course, one option is the creation of dab pages like the ones at Southern Zone or Northern Zone, but I'm not sure that any of the potential entries are ever referred to using this term in any broad context. And I also doubt it's meaningful to try to enumerate all the things that have had eastern or western zones. – Uanfala 20:26, 4 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Bank of America Merrill Lynch. (non-admin closure) Galobtter (talk) 14:47, 13 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I understand the importance of WP:NWFCTM, but readers are more likely to be looking for Bank of America Merrill Lynch than a stub about a computer file format. feminist 10:28, 4 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: You can always retarget or disambiguate it yourself. I don't know which one is better in this case, though, so I'm leaving it as a comment. I would rather have one of those two happen compared to deletion. HotdogPi 20:49, 4 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Bank of America Merrill Lynch as WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT per nominator. Page views heavily favour the bank, as do Google & Google News hits, and arguably long-term significance. (For fairness, Google Books hits favour Binary Application Markup Language, but I don't think that's enough to overcome the other stuff mentioned.) Don't see any other competing meanings. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 06:05, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget per above, with hatnote to former target. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 09:24, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • I also favor a retarget change. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 18:45, 8 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The subject is not mentioned in the target article, Saturday Night Live (season 17), so a redirect is not a suitable one. K.e.coffman (talk) 02:17, 4 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
