Delete Somehow this one was missed in Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion/Log/2017_July_7#Inc._American_Airlines UnitedStatesian (talk) 18:29, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. Same reasoning as the other Inc. prefixed redirects. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 21:20, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 20:32, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading (the target article on Wikipedia is not the official website of the Games), unused, implausible for search. – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 13:36, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You don't think someone might be searching for the official Torino 2006 olympic web site? Redirects don't just point to things that are itself, they also point to pages that might contain information on the search term. The most logical page on wikipedia that would contain information about the official website would be the the page on the 2006 Winter Olympics. -DJSasso (talk) 15:50, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
True, but the article doesn't contain any information on the official website of the 2006 Winter Olympics, and conceivably never will, making the redirect useless now and in the future. – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 16:07, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. Torino 2006 will get the searcher to the information. There's no need to add "official website" to all these search terms. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 17:26, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete official website is pointless. Further, the target is the Wikipedia page which is NOT the official website. Legacypac (talk) 10:44, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

POV term (was nominated for speedy deletion as empty, but RFD seems more appropriate) —Kusma (t·c) 09:00, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete WP:NOTDICTIONARY it's used on some random websites but it isn't clear what it means. No news articles that show it is a widely-used industry term, and the current article does not mention. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 20:01, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - Use of "Digital Consumer Enablement" as a term for "Digital Rights Management" has some history, but what we have here is a partial title match only that I don't think is right. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 04:16, 19 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Procedural Close. Restore Article. (non-admin closure) Legacypac (talk) 10:46, 18 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A redirect from one particular company to the general article is an advertisement. DGG ( talk ) 04:18, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Sure fine to see it deleted. Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 07:34, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. Not discussed in article as a particularly notable or patented "car wash system". AngusWOOF (barksniff) 17:29, 14 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Restore and send to AfD if necessary. This was a former article that was just redirected. Restoring the article resolves the nominator's concern. -- Tavix (talk) 12:15, 15 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You're right, this should be procedurally closed and article restored to go through AFD instead. Striking vote. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 18:39, 15 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
