The result of the discussion was keep per WP:SNOW. It's generally considered a waste of time to nominate a redirect at RFD directly after nominating its target at AFD. In the future, wait to see if the target gets deleted first. If the target is deleted, so will the redirect via G8. In this case, it has been demonstrated that he does go by "Sultan Z. Ghani" so the redirect is useful in the meantime. On the bright side, this nomination keeps the streak alive. -- Tavix ^(talk) 03:25, 15 August 2016 (UTC)

No incoming links, so I'm not sure why this redirect is needed. I think the target is also incorrect; "Z" is not the middle initial of the target article's name. MSJapan (talk) 18:12, 14 August 2016 (UTC)

• Keep. I don't think this article is going to survive AfD, but in the meantime, I think we should keep this. One of his middle names is "Zmarai" and he apparently goes by Sultan Z. Ghani on Instagram. -- Notecardforfree (talk) 19:08, 14 August 2016 (UTC)
• Keep if he goes by "Sultan Z. Ghani" (and it seems he does, at least some of the time) then this is a useful search term and should be kept as long as the article exists.
