Exact same reasoning as Formula One Podcasts, which was deleted. (Was overlooked last week.) QueenCake (talk) 23:49, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

According to the Mónica Godoy article, he directed a Spanish film entitled "XXL." However, that film doesn't have an article, it isn't mentioned at the disambiguation, and neither is he. Tavix |  Talk  06:46, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete there is nothing related to the person on that page, so there is no reason to redirect there. --kelapstick(bainuu) 17:30, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per above. --Lenticel (talk) 00:54, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete to encourage article creation. The Mónica Godoy article looks to have been machine translated; could the film have gone by another title? Ivanvector (talk) 16:13, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per above. YBG (talk) 05:59, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There are no Spanish bands listed at this disambiguation Tavix |  Talk  06:38, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete, this should either be a redlink to encourage creation or a redlink because the band isn't notable. Siuenti (talk) 11:20, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per Siuenti. Ivanvector (talk) 16:14, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Polyglycerol[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.

There is currently no actual discussion or definition on Wikipedia for polyglycerol. Right now, Polyglycerol redirects to Glycerol, which is erroneous. I am under the impression we can do one of two things: A. Delete the polyglycerol article because we have no information about it, or B. write a stub article or a disambiguation page about it. If we go with B., even the stub/disambig page will need some kind of description of it.

The only inbound links to Polyglycerol were from Polyglycerol polyricinoleate, which is one of many compounds with polyglycerol.

I am nominating this because of this edit made by an IP editor on the talk page, because it is a valid concern. See [1], "Why does "polyglycerol" redirect here?" Good question! Although polyglycerol seems to be a valid chemical of some kind, it hardly seems notable enough for Wikipedia's standards. I like to saw logs! (talk) 05:23, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Delete to encourage article creation. By the way, we do have Polyglycerol polyricinoleate too. --Lenticel (talk) 06:18, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Laughlin City[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Retarget to Laughlin. (non-admin closure) Natg 19 (talk) 17:33, 12 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I can tell Laughlin City, Alberta doesn't exist, so there is no reason to target Laughlin City to Alberta. I found it while watching X-Men (film), in the movie Laughlin City, Alberta where Rogue meets Wolverene. Seems as though it is a place that was made up for the movie. Suggest this be either deleted or retargeted to Laughlin as there are a couple of populated places named Laughlin in the US, I don't think any one is more notable than the other, and calling either a City would be a stretch. I considered just retargeting it myself, but since it has been around for more than seven years, thought RfD was more appropriate. I am leaning more towards Delete, however. kelapstick(bainuu) 00:26, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Somewhat surprisingly, that does meet MOS:DABMENTION. --BDD (talk) 16:45, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed, I am somewhat surprised. I am going to add it to the dab, but won't do anything with the redirect while this thread is open. Ivanvector (talk) 20:50, 9 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Given the comment by BDD and the action of Ivanvector, I would be happy with a Retarget now as it actually makes sense to have it target to Laughlin now. --kelapstick(bainuu) 11:47, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
