This term was once used in an episode of The Simpsons to describe the subject of this article, but I don't see how it's notable enough to refer exclusively to this target. Most searches for this term on search engines seem to bring up "urban dictionary" definitions for this term without mentioning Bob Dole. Also, the redirect is currently not mentioned in its target article. Steel1943 (talk) 07:34, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Urban Dictionary itself says that Homer Simpson coined the phrase in Treehouse of Horror VII, however it's not significant to the plot, and doesn't seem to have stuck unlike many perfectly cromulent bits of Simpsons trivia. Delete. Ivanvector (talk) 19:20, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The subject of the redirect is not mentioned in the target article, so the association is not clear. Steel1943 (talk) 07:24, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete it seems this person is one of Clinton's aide who has died last 2011. It might be best to keep this as a redlink should he be found as a notable individual. --Lenticel (talk) 01:10, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

List of Final Fantasy cast members[edit]

This redirect is misleading since the article, in its current state, does not include any lists of "cast members" or voice actors for any of the Final Fantasy franchise. It looks like this title was the subject of an WP:AFD back in 2008 with the result being to redirect here. However, at this point, any content that was in the target article from the redirect'a history is no longer here. Steel1943 (talk) 06:34, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Bahamut (GF)[edit]

This redirect's disambiguator is potentially too vague/ambiguous to be useful, given that I don't know of any girlfriends or grandfathers named Bahamut. Also, a redirect with a proper disambiguator, Bahamut (Final Fantasy), already exists. Steel1943 (talk) 03:33, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • By the way, "GF" in this disambiguator stands for "Guardian Force", but the term, as I know, was only used in Final Fantasy VIII. But still, GF could stand for anything due to being an ambiguous acronym. Steel1943 (talk) 05:54, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Active Time Battle[edit]

I'm not sure what should be done with this redirect, but with its list of articles with incoming links to Active Time Battle, the current target is most likely wrong. Several incoming links to this redirect refer to an "active time" system that is clearly not the "Final Fantasy" version. Also, the Active Time Battle has history as an article, so that may need to be moved to a title that is more "Final Fantasy"-centric (such as Active Time Battle (Final Fantasy)), but as stated, this incoming links are misleading, and will probably come back even if they are removed. Square Enix battle systems[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. JohnCD (talk) 14:11, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect is vague/ambiguous since more than one video game series developed by Square Enix has a "battle system". Also, this redirect previously targeted a specific section in its current target article, but that section has since disappeared. It would be best to delete this redirect, unless a suitable retarget exists. Steel1943 (talk) 01:05, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Note: I have since retargeted this redirect to Gameplay of Final Fantasy#Parties and battles, but I still think that target is incorrect as I have stated above; Square Enix battle systems aren't exclusive to the Final Fantasy game series. Steel1943 (talk) 01:12, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom as a vague synonym. --Lenticel (talk) 01:33, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
