Subject is not well related or associated to the target. Redirects to a production team that he is not a member of, that has only produced two of his songs. STATic message me! 19:29, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:RR[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep, with hatnotes added at the target page. --BDD (talk) 17:23, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't this redirect to WP:Resource request? Launchballer 13:25, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • No. I've had a look at all the links to this shortcut, and identified the page that the person using it expected it to link to:
Intended page RR means Count of uses
Wikipedia:WikiProject Trains Railroads 21
Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources Reliable references 10
Wikipedia:Three revert rule Revert rule 6
(Unable to determine) ? 2
(This excludes mentions (e.g. lists of shortcut combinations) - see Use-mention distinction)
So, the best thing to do is to keep as is but at a hatnote to the other possible uses. Thryduulf (talk) 17:26, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment at most it would be a disambiguation page. "RR" in the real world means railroad. -- 70.50.148.248 (talk) 04:32, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to I (film). --BDD (talk) 00:50, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Misspelling Kailash29792 (talk) 05:01, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I (film) is blatantly its intent, that is what it redirected to before that was temporarily redirected to Shankar (director). This doesn't require RfD - I've done changed the redirect.--Launchballer 13:28, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I understand what u all are saying, but redirects also appear in the search engine. Seeing "I(film)" in the search engine irks me as I often accidentally end up clicking it. And that is why I want it deleted. Kailash29792 (talk) 13:38, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That would appear to be a problem with whatever search engine you're using, rather than the redirect. WilyD 13:54, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
He means the Wikipedia search engine, and quite frankly, the redirect now redirects to the page you want anyway so what are you moaning about?--Launchballer 18:51, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sherlach[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. --BDD (talk) 00:51, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

One of the victims was named Mary Sherlach. I don't think this does justify redirection. I would delete this redirect. ilaiho (talk) 13:52, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete I can't find anyone else with this name that is notable. Ego White Tray (talk) 02:10, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
