Deletion requested. This recently-created redirect appears to be an error. Reading the article about how Morven (Princeton, New Jersey) was named, it appears almost impossible that Morven was ever called the Joseph Morven House. I can not find any reference to a Joseph Morven House anywhere. I asked the creator about it on his talk page 9 days ago but did not receive an answer. He has since been topic-banned and therefore cannot answer anymore, either there or here. I believe this was created in good faith, but it does seem misleading. My speculation is that he may have confused Morven with the Joseph Henry House, another historic building not too far from Morven. 66.217.202.245 (talk) 20:09, 28 September 2013 (UTC)

• Delete. Apparently had to do with a new article, Princeton Historic District (Princeton, New Jersey), that went live on 9/18. Four days before that, this edit added this redirect to that article. It was all probably in good faith, though definitely incorrect, because "Morven" was not named for any person, but for a Gaelic phrase that means "big mountain" according to the Morven website. Dover Calais ferry

• Dover Calais ferry → P&O Ferries (links to redirect • history • stats)     [ Closure: keep/delete ] 

According to the Port of Dover article there are presently three four companies running ferries on the Dover-Calais route, P&O is just one of them so the redirect as it stands is inappropriate. I'm not sure what best to do with it though as I can't find an article about the route, and it doesn't seem to make sense to point it at either Port of Dover or Calais#Transport (Port of Calais is a redlink). English Channel#Ferry is just a list and Channel Ports is about the ports not the route. Maybe it could become an article (at Dover-Calais ferry), but I don't know whether it would meet the GNG or not? Thryduulf (talk) 14:34, 28 September 2013 (UTC)

• Keep as is. The section target has been anchored to fix broken links, including this one. Looks like a good search term for readers to use to get more info on the route, at least for now. If and when articles are written on the other two ferry companies, then this redirect might become a viable dab page. – Paine Ellsworth ^CLIMAX! 02:20, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Articles already exist for the other companies - DFDS Seaways#Passenger & Freight, LD Lines#Dover - Calais, MyFerryLink (this is their only route). Thryduulf (talk) 09:39, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
    • Okay, so how about if I turn Dover-Calais ferry into a dab page with four same-name redirects to the companies, such as Dover-Calais ferry (LD Lines), etc.? (per WP:DABREDIR) Then this redirect (Dover Calais ferry) can be retargeted to the new dab page and tagged with {{R from modification}}. – Paine Ellsworth ^CLIMAX! 16:53, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
• I favor Paine's solution. Go ahead and create a dab and I'll say retarget there. If I'm not mistaken, though, the dab should be at Dover–Calais ferry (see MOS:ENDASH). --BDD (talk) 21:09, 7 October 2013 (UTC)
