The result of the discussion was keep. WJBscribe (talk) 23:58, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There are two likely topics for this - Garfield (character) and Odie. Since this is ambiguous and there is no clear topic, it should be delete. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 20:55, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep and Refine target to Garfield#Main characters where the reader will find information on both characters and their inter-relationship. A former article, this title is over 8 years old and deleting is likely to break external links which we should avoid when there is a sensible alternative - WP:RFD#KEEP point 4. The Whispering Wind (talk) 21:55, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep and refine per TWW. --BDD (talk) 23:32, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete all except 6 in respect of which there was no consensus - the remainder can be relisted for further discussion if necessary. WJBscribe (talk) 23:10, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Delete all of these. The redirects are in Georgian but their targets are not about Georgia. Gorobay (talk) 13:34, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Not to mention that the most famous/infamous Soviet ruler was Georgian. Ego White Tray (talk) 03:37, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - Georgia has been independent for around 22 years - we are dealing with the here and now. The Whispering Wind (talk) 01:56, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
WP:NOTTEMP doesn't apply precisely, but the spirit of it does. We try to edit independent of a topic's present importance. You wouldn't delete any {{R from historic name}} and its ilk simply because the terms are dated, would you? --BDD (talk) 03:18, 23 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Very good point and I have struck my comment. However, I still think that the link is too tangenial. If one of the redirects was იოსებ სტალინის then that would be a keep, obviously. The Whispering Wind (talk) 13:50, 24 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete all, including the ones pertaining to Russia. This is an English Wikipedia, and such redirects are quite implausible target (really, which rational person would expect to find anything directly using a foreign-script search term? Even then, Special:Search would provide any hits within article bodies). We can't keep a redirect from every tangentially related language. No such user (talk) 07:28, 25 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing redirect that seems unnecessary - better to leave red links. Avilena (talk) 07:04, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Refine to So You Think You Can Dance Scandinavia#Top 20 finalists. We routinely redirect to contestant lists for reality shows, and performance shows were the contestants do not have notability for an independent article. -- Whpq (talk) 21:24, 22 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep and refine per Whpq. --BDD (talk) 19:22, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep and refine target. Previously deleted at AfD so unless since has been able to establish notability, this seems normal. On the Norwegian Wikipedia he doesn't have a page (only a theologian with the same name) so notability is not looking promising and I see no merit in a red link. Dancers who should not only be associated with one season of a TV show. Better to leave red links. (Others that could have been nominated: Ludwig Jerkander, Anders Jacobson, Helena Fransson, Daniel da Silva (dancer), Björn Törnblom). Avilena (talk) 07:53, 20 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep This is a pretty typical treatment for reality show contestants. They can still be overwritten with articles if necessary, but for many of them, WP:BLP1E will apply and their primary claim to notability will continue to be their participation in this show. --BDD (talk) 23:56, 22 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep all. It would require extensive research to establish if any are separately notable. However, if any prove to be then a page can be written on top of the redirect. The Whispering Wind (talk) 20:44, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
