No mention of "Koshkin" at target page. PamD 18:54, 23 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - this redirect was created by a now blocked sockpuppet. Even at the time of creation there was no mention of this character at the target and when we have nothing to offer on a subject we should fess up. The Whispering Wind (talk) 22:07, 23 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Todd Matthew Burns[edit]

The result of the discussion was Keep. Nyttend's arguments are convincing, and anyone is of course free to renominate if additional information becomes available. Thryduulf (talk) 13:45, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No evidence that this is his full name - I can't source a connection. Taylor Trescott - my talk + my edits 19:07, 16 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak keep I don't have any hard evidence, but I strongly suspect this is accurate. I tried searching "todd matthew burns" -wikipedia and I'm getting results from a Santa Monica attorney with this name. Our article says this film producer is also an attorney. I know we need to tread carefully with BLPs, but I don't think a wrong middle name in a redirect is the sort of thing that will really bring the encyclopedia into disrepute. If he were dead, I'd probably say straight keep, but if others think this circumstantial evidence isn't enough for a BLP, I can understand that. --BDD (talk) 00:48, 23 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion so a clearer consensus may be reached.

  • Delete per Taylor Trescott. 108.218.12.104 (talk) 18:32, 23 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per BDD. WP:RFD#DELETE uses a wrong-name situation as an example of a redirect causing confusion ("Adam B. Smith" redirected to "Andrew B. Smith"), but that's a situation in which we know that the guy's real name is Andrew. Since BDD has evidence that this may well be the correct name, we should continue making it available to readers, especially as it was clearly created about the same guy in good faith: some people, at least, think that it's the same guy.
