The result of the discussion was speedy delete approved and performed by RHaworth for criterion R2. Cross-namespace redirects fall under this criteron. Steel1943 (talk) 20:15, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Redirects to foreign language wikis are generally not useful to readers of the English Wikipedia. TexasAndroid (talk) 18:33, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete: I just posted a message about this redirect on its creator's talk page, when I saw this "redirects for discussion" notice there (it was not yet there when I started writing my message to him). There is no article about Concarril on English Wikipedia, but "Concarril" exists as a redirect on Spanish Wikipedia – to the same article that this redirect points to – and therefore, using Template:Ill can accomplish the exact same thing in this instance, once this English-WP redirect has been deleted (it won't work as long as this redirect exists). An editor need only replace "Concarril" within the relevant English WP articles with {{Ill|es|Concarril}}, after (or if) this redirect is deleted. Then, "Concarril" would revert to being a redlink, which is preferable in cases like this, while retaining a link to the Spanish article (in parentheses). • Speedy Delete. From what I'm seeing about this redirect, it might actually qualifiy for speedy deletion due to criteria {{db-r2}}. In fact, I'm going to go ahead and place that tag on the article to see if that is the case. Steel1943 (talk) 19:34, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Retarget to Needleman (disambiguation). Steel1943 (talk) 20:10, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. This redirects to an article that is not a disambiguation page, and there are not enough articles on Wikipedia to turn Needlewoman (disambiguation) into a disambiguation page. Steel1943 (talk) 09:24, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
