Delete - Originally CSD'd, then editor converted to a redirect -- however, this title is long and unlikely to be typed -- plus, the redirect destination makes no sense. Theopolisme 05:49, 30 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There is no connection between the redirect and the target. In fact, the word "collection" does not appear in the article. Recommend delete because it isn't useful. Senator2029 • talk 04:41, 30 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That's fine. Only one article, E.Bon Holdings, linked to kitchen collection, and it is unclear what they meant by the term. I removed links to "collection" from that article. I thought that the term kitchen collection might be common in Hong Kong English or British English, but I haven't found much to support that. Note that Kitchen Collection is a specialty retail subsidiary of the holding company NACCO Industries. Wbm1058 (talk) 16:52, 1 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete too vague (a collection of kitchens? :))--Lenticel (talk) 03:20, 2 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Closed stations[edit]

The result of the discussion was Delete as too unspecific. Tikiwont (talk) 09:37, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Delete a generic expression that redirects to a specific article Sw2nd (talk) 05:33, 30 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Disambiguate. We have lots of articles about closed stations around the world, and this seems like a very plausible way people would look for them. Thryduulf (talk) 12:21, 30 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
e.g., List of closed railway stations in Britain. Is railway needed in the title to DAB from closed broadcasting stations? Wbm1058 (talk) 16:59, 1 October 2012 (UTC) ...or closed police station, naval air station, etc. Wbm1058 (talk) 17:04, 1 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Good question. I did a google search for list of closed stations (no quotes) restricted to en.wikipedia.org and viewed 10 pages of results. On page 4 I found List of power stations in England, which has lists of open and closed power stations grouped by fuel, and List of former Royal Air Force stations. Page 7 brought List of power stations in Hong Kong, which lists open and closed power stations in a single sortable table, while page 10 gives List of radio stations in South Africa, which lists open and closed radio stations grouped by province. All the other relevant results (the irrelevant ones were duplicates, talk pages, etc) were rail transport related with at most a dozen metro, tramway, subway and underground station list scattered through the 10 pages. Based on this, I think that this title should redirect to a disambiguation page at Lists of closed rail transport stations with a hatnote to the other pages if desired, although only the RAF list deals exclusively with closed stations. • Delete Thryduulf's results show that we have lots of different types of closed stations. Redirecting it to closed rail stations just shows bias in favor of rail over all other forms of stations. -- 76.65.131.79 (talk) 04:14, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per Thryduulf's findings. Making a dab would be at best too unwieldy due to the sheer number of closed stations as the term "stations" itself is too vague. --Lenticel (talk) 02:20, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
