- Delete all. While I haven't looked at all of them, a representative sample shows that each one was created directly as a redirect from template space to a pre-existing article. Whether this is a misundertanding of templates or something else I don't know, but all of them appear to have no use and many are in the way of potential future navigation templates. - Comment - First of all, I apologize to the community for creating templates that redirect to mainspace articles.
- I acknowledge my error, and I have refrained from doing so as of late.
- My intent is to create navigation boxes for each of these articles over time. The reality is that we are where we are, and that creating navigation boxes for each of these articles is a large undertaking.
- I will start working from this list as my first priority. If the community feels that it must delete these templates immediately, I will respect that decision, and create these templates later on if it is appropriate to do so. I strongly encourage other editors to create navigation boxes of these templates as well.
- I just self-deleted Template:Pretty Poison, and made templates for Crossbreed and 2-100.

- Comment - Thank you for your vote of confidence TB. Why is this worrying? The templates are being redirected to templates of larger and inclusive scope, and I was not advised of needing six articles instead of five until after the fact. On a side note, I would like to ask that so long as I am making progress, that this discussion be relisted for another week to give me time to get through this list, if that is OK.--Jax 0677 (talk) 00:51, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
- In my opinion, those redirects are useless and can be removed. It makes sense to redirect an article to another article, but redirecting templates to another template makes no sense. Nobody will use the redirects. The Banner talk 02:49, 21 September 2012 (UTC) I don't think any admin will close this discussion as it is still active. And it will keep active untill the whole list is done.

In short, there is no need to claim templates for future action. Do it now, or leave it. Next time Jax, I will make you bring a cup of tea to every single wiki-editor!

- The 1 week discussion period is much less rigid at RfD than AfD, so it wont be closed while you're still working through the list. Jax, I suggest that you wait until the list is complete then if there are any of those redirects you think should be deleted nominate them as a new discussion (using the {{subst:rfd2m}} format) as the rationale will be different. Redirecting one template to another can be useful, although I make no comment about whether any of the ones above are or are not - I've not looked yet. Thryduulf (talk) 07:21, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
