- Godzillalance → Dragonlance (links to redirect • history • stats) [ Closure: keep/delete ]
This redirect should be deleted because Dragonlance is never called Godzillalance, nor is anything else. Neelix (talk) 22:04, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
- Delete No apparent purpose or connection to the target article. --BDD (talk) 00:36, 6 November 2012 (UTC)

This redirect should also be deleted for the same reasons as given for the two Eminem album redirects. IT is very unnecessary. When the album's titled is disclosed THEN make an article, but a redirect in the meantime is not needed. We can simply note the album's current condition on the artist's wikipedia article until the title is disclosed to move it to an article. That is why the article for Eminem's eighth studio album was deleted. Likewise we don't have a "Dr. Dre's third studio album" redirect for Detox because it's not needed and people are not even likely to search those queries. Just go by title. It's really quite dumb. - Strong keep this got over 1500 hits last month, and also per my comments below about Eminem's 6th sudio album. Thryduulf (talk) 17:10, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
- Keep-1500 hits in a month and it's "unnecessary"? Is this some kind of joke nomination?--Fyre2387 (talk • contribs) 22:00, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
- Keep - likely search term, useful for navigation, no rationale for deletion. WilyD 10:40, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- Keep, helpful to be able to search for albums by number as well as name. Siuenti (talk) 11:22, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

Eminem's seventh studio album[edit]
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- Eminem's seventh studio album → Recovery (Eminem album) (links to redirect • history • stats) [ Closure: keep/delete ]
This redirect should be deleted because it is unnecesssary. People aren't likely to search this query anyway especially with the mainstream awareness of the album. The album has a name and a redirect like this does need to be on wikipedia. Even the article on Eminem's upcoming eigth album was deleted because it makes no sense to have the article until the title i disclosed. No redirect such as "________'s _____ studio album" is really needed when you think about it. Banan14kab (talk) 14:30, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
- Keep, the stats show that people do use this title to look for content. See also my comments below about the sixth studio album. Thryduulf (talk) 17:11, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
- Keep - likely search term, no rationale for deletion. WilyD 10:38, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- Keep, helpful to be able to search for albums by number as well as name. Siuenti (talk) 11:22, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- Keep as plausible synonym. It's even stated in the article lede.--Lenticel (talk) 01:05, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

Procedural nomination; the discussion was originally listed at AfD (I'm neutral, btw). Erpert Who is this guy? | Wanna talk about it? 05:32, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
“ | There is no need for this redirect becaseu the album's title has been disclosed and the article is made. it is also unlikely people actually use that query in the searchbox. They can find the album under his discography or simply search by title. Banan14kab (talk) 03:29, 29 October 2012 (UTC) | ” |
- Keep this is a very well used redirect, getting over 200 hits a month even when not nominated for (speedy) deletion somewhere. The target is accurate and the title doesn't conflict with anything. Keeping would therefore not be harmful but deleting it would be. Thryduulf (talk) 11:47, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

- The result of the discussion was speedy delete per WP:CSD#G6 (redirects created by moving pages to the correct namespace). I think the talk page issue has been sorted? Thryduulf (talk) 11:52, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
- Wikipedia:WWE NXT → History of WWE NXT (links to redirect • history • stats) [ Closure: keep/delete ]

XNR, these newly created cross namespace redirects were created by various users moving the article out of articlespace into project space. (NOTE: The talk page got detached at one point, so someone should fix that and reattach the talk page to the article) -- 65.92.181.190 (talk) 04:49, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
- Update the talk page has been moved out of project space, but attached to the wrong article (of the mess that is WWE NXT WE NXT History of WWE NXT. I'll request a speedy rename to fix it. -- 65.92.181.190 (talk) 10:45, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
