- The result of the discussion was Redirects handled individually, rather than as a batch nomination
Comment. Is there some way we can take all these Chinese-language terms together to agree to keep or delete? Seems to be makework to have to do them all separately where I think we all would agree, keep all or delete all, we are unlikely to say yes to five of them and no to the rest. Si Trew (talk) 08:01, 2 September 2011 (UTC)
- Comment. Sorry, I actually have taken a different position on some than others for the reasons explained. Consequently I have undone the 'bold' merge which misrepresented my position. There is a different consideration for those which represent the subject in its native language (which should be kept per previous practice) and those which represent terms that simply appear in the content (which should be deleted per usual practice). - Keep - appears in the article so neither misleading nor confusing. This meets the one circumstance where we keep non-English language redirects which is when the redirect is the name of the subject in its native language. Add to Category:Redirects from Chinese-language terms. Bridgeplayer (talk) 02:28, 2 September 2011 (UTC)
- Not sure, Delete as not english (i.e. the redirect not the article), or Keep as
{{R from alternative language}}
but it should be marked so (on the same line as the REDIRECT, immediately after.) Not marking as such meself because I don't think that will work while{{rfd}}

- Not sure, Delete as not english (i.e. the redirect not the article), or Keep as
{{R from alternative language}}
but it should be marked so (on the same line as the REDIRECT, immediately after.) Not marking as such meself because I don't think that will work while{{rfd}}
is on there. Si Trew (talk) 08:01, 2 September 2011 (UTC)
