The result of the discussion was keep. Thryduulf (talk) 10:58, 8 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not needed page, created by over zealous fans. Carl Sixsmith (talk) 20:53, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • There is a redirect for every Big Brother housemate. Flamingjoe (talk) 22:02, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - I hate with a passion every reality show ever created.:-) Having said that, there is useful info on the guy at the target. The case for deletion would be, per WP:RED, if the person met notability criteria which he apparently doesn't. Consequently, I see no reason to make what info we have harder to find. Bridgeplayer (talk) 21:49, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Do we really need a redirect from Mark Henderson (television personality) though? There is a disambiguation page for Mark Henderson that can just as easily point to the redirect as all it does now is point to Mark Henderson (television personality). As for the There is a redirect for every Big Brother housemate, that argument is WP:POKE. Redirects are supposed to be for obvious errors or points people would expect to see an article. In this case the disambiguation page should suffice. Carl Sixsmith (talk) 06:29, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Well, the redirect is getting a decent number of hits so it is a plausible search term. Redirects are cheap and our policy is to keep them, even if not strictly needed, unless they are positively harmful (for example by being misleading), which this one is not. I have amended the disamb page to avoid the redirect. Bridgeplayer (talk) 09:37, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • From the above advice, it looks as if we are stuck with it, although I would preferred them to be described as nnnnn (Big Brother contestant) rather than nnnnn (television personality). Leaky Caldron 11:29, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Railway End[edit]

The result of the discussion was Delete. Thryduulf (talk) 11:00, 8 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Railway end" is an extremely common designation for a given end of a football pitch. There is no particular reason to associate this redirect with one particular ground, especially as the sole inbound link is a discretionary one from a single article's footnote. Chris Cunningham (user:thumperward) - talk 19:40, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - ambiguous title with no other reasonable retarget. Bridgeplayer (talk) 21:41, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete could easily mean rail terminus. 65.94.77.11 (talk) 05:16, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Michael Savage (radio host)[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was no consensus to delete. Thryduulf (talk) 11:04, 8 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect probably should be deleted because the radio host is the most notable personality with this name. WP:PRIMARYTOPIC Blue Rasberry (talk) 00:01, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved this over from Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Michael Savage (radio host), noting the original nom above. UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 12:30, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - hey; this is the first redirect I have seen with zero hits!! Having said that, it has only just been created, and could be useful in the future. It is entirely harmless, entirely accurate, and I see no policy grounds for deletion. Bridgeplayer (talk) 22:06, 28 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I don't have an opinion on this, since I don't know the subject well enough. But just FYI, here is some background to how this redirect was created. User:Hurunui99 didn't think that the radio host, Michael Savage, should be the primary subject for that article title. He copied and pasted the Michael Savage article and pasted it into his newly created Michael Savage (radio host). I reverted and turned it into a redirect, and it's now ended up here. I've informed Hurunui99 of this discussion. First Light (talk) 20:04, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
