Its a bad idea at comedy, a bit demeaning the users that contribute to many resolved issues there, and to the users that make reports there - its a working part of wikipedia dispute resolution and adding this redirect to discussions is going to be nothing but detrimental to process. Off2riorob (talk) 19:19, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep per WP:SPADE. WQA is a haven for whiners, patrolled by busybodies. Might as well provide a redirect that reflects its true nature. Tarc (talk) 19:44, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as useless and offending. While it is clearly not the case for WP:SPADE, this redirect seems to be created with the only goal in mind: to offend all the editors and clerks in WQA, which is completely inappropriate. — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk) 21:02, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - It's just saying how it is. The question of civility comes up time and time again, always with the same whiners. Someone does the metaphorical equivalent of farting in their direction and it's "I'm telling my mummy on you" then they either run to WP:WQA or WP:ANI. Anyway, who the hell thought up such a stupid word like "wikiquette"? So furthermore keep 'cos you can never have too many redirects to WQA, it seems to be getting busier and busier, yet strangely enough it doesn't actually achieve anything useful. Anyway, if nothing else this RfD should point out the mummy's boys and girls, not to mention the miserable buggers who fail to see how a bit of light-hearted fun can break the monotony of copy-editing and maintenance. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Demeaning. I would have thought that someone not being able to handle things themselves and have to run off to get a grown-up is far more demeaning. Well now instead of having to remember yet another bloody acronym they have a nice easy redirect to remember, and you have to admit, it is memorable after all! --The Pink Oboe (talk) 21:44, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per WP:SPADE. Its what most of the people running off to WQA are trying to do anyways. We might as well accept it. --Guerillero | My Talk 23:31, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per 28bytes... although The Pink Oboe makes a point in saying it is memorable. VictorianMutant(Talk) 00:05, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong Delete per a complete and total rejection of the obnoxious, insulting, unhelpful and demeaning attitude represented by those voting keep per WP:SPADE. Absolutely appalling and unwelcoming behavior at a time when we should be greeting people with love and concern for their happiness and well-being, rather than snarky nonsense. [Update: Actually, since it has only existed since yesterday, I am going to be WP:BOLD and just delete it right now. Please do not recreate without a full discussion and consensus at the talk page of Wikipedia:Wikiquette assistance. ]--Jimbo Wales (talk) 12:32, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
What a total load of new age bollocks. So I see the undelete should be done by consensus, yet the delete was done in spite of an ongoing discussion with no consensus. Way to go Jimbo, use your buttons out of process why don't you. You're a fucking programmer, not god ya know. --The Pink Oboe (talk) 12:42, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
WP:NPA. I rest my case. You may wish to find a different hobby, as you are clearly going to continue to be unhappy here.--Jimbo Wales (talk) 12:47, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
What case? You whizz in here, walk all over the discussion then delete out of process. You have no particular right to do so other than having the wherewithall of having the correct buttons. Now do the right thing and wait for a consensus to be formed instead of your unilateral opinion. --The Pink Oboe (talk) 12:49, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Take it to the talk page.--Jimbo Wales (talk) 13:02, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Which "the" talk page. The talk page of the redirect you deleted out of process, the talk page for this discussion, or your "the" talk page? There are so many to choose from. --The Pink Oboe (talk) 13:12, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
He clearly said: "the talk page of Wikipedia:Wikiquette assistance". Edokter (talk) — 18:50, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Hugarian"[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was speedy deleted per WP:CSD#R3 by user:Boing! said Zebedee. Thryduulf (talk) 20:58, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

While Hugarian might be a common typo/spelling error for Hungarian, we do not normally keep redirects including quotation marks. The combination of quotation marks and the misspelling mean this is a highly improbable typo. At only 3 days old I was tempted to nominate it for R3 speedy deletion, but decided to err on the side of RfD. Thryduulf (talk) 14:02, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete as per nomination. I don't really see any significant use case for this. — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk) 15:00, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Hmm, how did I do that? I intended to do a simple direct from Hugarian without the quotations marks. Anyway, oops. Nick Number (talk) 19:03, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy delete as R3 and tagged as such. The quotation marks makes this implausible and, with the tacit agreement of the creator above, I see no merit in extending this RFD unduly. Bridgeplayer (talk) 20:47, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Tacit? There's my Delete up there in boldface. At any rate, thanks for taking care of it. Nick Number (talk) 23:05, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
