This is a list of redirects that have been proposed for deletion or other action on March 14, 2011

Turkish Facism[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Retarget to Category:Turkish fascists. The only other alternative is deletion. Ruslik_Zero 14:47, 9 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That's a redirect to a wrong article. But, my main concern is that it is not spelled correctly. Kavas (talk) 20:28, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep (no opinion yet on retargetting). Redirects from misspellings are some of the most firmly established and acceptable uses for redirects. That is not a reason to delete. To your first point then, if Kemalist ideology is not the correct target, what would be better? Green-Fascism? Category:Turkish fascists? Something else? Rossami (talk) 21:18, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Relisting. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 19:01, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
    • We are coming up on a month without comment. Probably time to move the retargetting question to the redirect's Talk page. The question can sit there until there is more time and interest to resolve it. Rossami (talk) 13:20, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
      • I have retargeted it to Turkish fascism, which is not written yet. You can stop the discussion here. Kavas (talk) 17:06, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
        • I'm sorry, but I had to revert that edit for now. It's probably the right target in the long-term but policy does not allow redirects to redlinks because of the confusion that they cause for readers. Is there enough sourcable content to even put a stub at "Turkish fascism"? Or to make a disambiguation page? Rossami (talk) 19:55, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
          • Maybe there is enough source for writing an article on this. However, Kemalist ideology is something different from this, as it has been transformed to democracy in 1930's. What scholars call fascism in Turkey is pro-Nazi politicians in WWII. The redirect was not created for helping users, but it was only created for POV-pushing. Milestone XT720[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Delete. Ruslik_Zero 11:08, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

XT720 is a small upgrade to XT701. Droid X or ME811 is absolutely a different phone. --Rat2.Call me Remy 18:38, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

James Nelson (Scotish footballer)[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Keep (non-admin closure). Acather96 (talk) 18:28, 29 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Improbable someone will type all this in the search box without noticing the target title as the only one on offer and go there directly. I don't think any valuable historical links would be broken, although redir originated by moving page to target (5/12/07). Thrissel (talk) 12:49, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep because there is no reason to delete it. The page was created at a typo-title and was (properly) moved to the correct title but not until over a year later. It helps to document the pagemove and we have no way to know whether deletion would break any historical links. It's not harmful or confusing. The project gains nothing by deleting it but we minimize the problem of linkrot by keeping it. Rossami (talk) 13:51, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - It's a good redirect, as it's clearly a plausible misspelling of the phrase James Nelson (Scottish footballer). --SoCalSuperEagle (talk) 17:25, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Withdrawn (Non-admin closure) JJ98 (Talk) 05:16, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unlikey search term, cannot find any results about the episode in the episode list. JJ98 (Talk) 01:34, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Agree, delete. Neutral.AerobicFox (talk) 07:01, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per the merger discussion of 2007 (held on Talk:List of Courage the Cowardly Dog episodes). The redirect is quietly preempting the re-creation of content that the community has decided is an inappropriate level of detail. Note: I will change my opinion if someone can show that the content behind the redirect was fraudulent - that no such episode existed. A quick google search suggests that the problem may be an incomplete target page, however. Rossami (talk) 14:01, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
