The result of the discussion was Kept. -- JLaTondre (talk) 13:13, 4 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - this was originally a stub article about the proposed 2013 series. The article was subjected to a deletion discussion. The result was delete and the redirect was not accepted. This is not how television series are disambiguated (they're usually by country of origin and sometimes by year) and we don't know that the show will ever even exist, let alone that it will be called "The Flintstones" or that it will air on or be produced by Fox television. The deletion discussion was ignored by an editor who created the redirect without consensus with the very helpful edit summary "WHY THE HELL DID YOU DELETE THIS PAGE. I'M REDIRECTING IT NOW!" Harley Hudson (talk) 22:23, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • If there is more verifiable information than the sentence in the Seth MacFarlane article, AND there is an article about planned/announced/future TV shows relevant to this series (could be by country, network, date, I don't know) then retarget there. Otherwise delete. Redirectng the name of a TV program to a single person associated with it does not help readers. Thryduulf (talk) 02:57, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep is does actually redirect to a one-line section about the proposed series. Of course re-target if a better taget exists, or is created. Rich Farmbrough, 14:23, 16 June 2011 (UTC).[reply]
Actually there is a good para or two in the deleted version, the (AfD) nom. meant this to be merged into Seth McFarlane, and the support was mainly "per nom" so the history should be undeleted for GFDL/CC purposes and the merge performed. Rich Farmbrough, 14:28, 16 June 2011 (UTC).[reply]
  • The support was not mainly per nom and two of the participants (including me and the article's creator) specifically said not to use as a malformed redirect. Harley Hudson (talk) 22:57, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Opera Winfrey[edit]

The result of the discussion was Keep --Taelus (talk) 15:53, 24 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I'm concerned, this isn't a common misspelling of the name. Island Monkey talk the talk 18:48, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep-This averages around a thousand hits per month. That's way more than enough to suggest its a plausible typo.--Fyre2387 (talkcontribs) 20:36, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep, clearly a common misspelling if it has over 1,000 hits every month. I honestly used to spell her name this way until I learned Oprah is Harpo backwards ;) CTJF83 22:18, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep clearly a plausible misspelling and gets a lot of hits. Hut 8.5 12:27, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was page moved over redirect by Rich Farmbrough. Thryduulf (talk) 18:10, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Delete redirect to make way for move: the company's name is "Simon Chorley Art & Antiques" since 2006. Gurt Posh (talk) 14:05, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Template:WPLA[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Kept as a DAB template. This should prevent problems in the future. RunningOnBrains(talk) 04:48, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Retarget to Template:WikiProject Louisiana. LA means Louisana, it currently redirects to California, without activating the Los Angeles task force, so does not work properly. Many of the other two letter state forms with WP prepended redirect to the US state wikiproject banners.

It says

#REDIRECT [[Template:WikiProject California|southerncalifornia=yes]]

Which is a complete different task force than the Los Angeles task force.

Delete - I recommend deleting this one. Its just too ambiguous and could mean several different things for 1 and for the other it doesn't get any hits anyway. --Kumioko (talk) 13:08, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Delete and salt. Should it belong to Los Angeles (population 17 million) or Louisiana (population 4.5 million)? What about Laos (6.8 million), who has the .la TLD? Or maybe Latin America, Lily Allen, or the Latin language? Just delete and salt so we don't have a silly debate like this again. tedder (talk) 14:18, 15 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Delete since it's unused, and potentially unhelpful, or maybe better Replace with a DAB template - which I have done for the time being. Rich Farmbrough, 14:38, 16 June 2011 (UTC).[reply]
Can you add one of those big red error messages to it, so that it will show a nasty error if it's transcluded? 65.94.47.63 (talk) 04:52, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
