This redirect is superfluous and ridiculous. No one is ever going to enter this text (it's longer than the title of the actual essay!). If we took this page as precedent we would have hundreds of ridiculously long redirects like this. I propose that we delete this piece of junk. • Delete. This is not a shortcut. It is a comment with associated link, which may be effected by a piped link if desired, but this redirect encourages shouting. ~ Ningauble (talk) 15:39, 30 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cute, but I doubt that this parody term is all that useful for Wikipedia's purposes. J. Spencer (talk) 15:18, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per WP:RFD#DELETE, point 8. Nothing in the target and the term doesn't appear in reliable sources. This is tied up with a creationist concept that dinosaurs and people coexisted several thousand years ago - see here. However, with nothing in the target this redirect would simply be confusing to a searcher. Bridgeplayer (talk) 15:59, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Etihad stadium[edit]

The result of the discussion was Retarget to Etihad Stadium. עוד מישהו Od Mishehu 07:33, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Delete as redundant and unhelpful. Etihad Stadium can refer to either City of Manchester Stadium (in Manchester) or Docklands Stadium (in Melbourne), and so Etihad Stadium is a disambiguation page. For historical reasons, Etihad stadium (with lower case "s") is a redirect to Docklands Stadium. If this (lower case) redirect is deleted, anyone searching for Etihad Stadium (with any combination of cases) will get sent to the dab page automatically, which is preferable.

The page history shows that this page briefly (on 13 April 2009) held the article currently at Docklands Stadium. The page history of Docklands Stadium shows that there was a simple cut-and-paste move to here, so a deletion of this redirect will not delete any editing history. There are no incoming links. • Retarget to Etihad Stadium and tag with {{R from other capitalisation}} per usual practice. Long-standing title and deletion may break links in external sites. Bridgeplayer (talk) 16:13, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
