The result of the discussion was Closed because of speedy deletio. Peridon (talk) 20:21, 3 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Without a title, there's no need for a redirect. There's little sourced info as is and would be hammered if it were an article. Starcheerspeaksnewslostwars (talk) 23:58, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment - Agreed. When I originally posted the redirect, I presumed more information on the album would emerge to replace it with: however, it seems obvious this is unlikely to happen any time soon. I now think it should probably be removed until new information does emerge. Sufur222 (talk) 05:54, 3 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible redirect stemming from a term that is probably a hoax. Rymatz (talk) 22:51, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment - not a hoax. This started out as an article on a card game in Bermuda and it is recognised in Bermudian legislation. Bridgeplayer (talk) 01:55, 3 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - not mentioned in the target and I have failed to find any good sources that would enable a sourced addition to the article as a poker variant. Bridgeplayer (talk) 01:07, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Delete to encourage article creation. --Taelus (talk) 22:51, 14 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

misleading redirect - he has a small mention in 2 articles, but neither worthy of a redirect - anyone looking for info on him there would have a pretty fruitless trawl. It would be better to have this as a redlink ,and thus make obvious the possibility to create an article. It is bluelinked now in the target article, causing further confusion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Boleyn (talkcontribs)

Orphaned, impractical redirect. I think people tend to use the actual template, {{to Commons}}, {{MTC}}, or {{Mtc}}. –Drilnoth (T/C) 15:11, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned, impractical redirect. I think people tend to use the actual template, {{to Commons}}, {{MTC}}, or {{Mtc}}. Who would capitalize "Wikimedia" but not "Commons"? –Drilnoth (T/C) 15:11, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Keep I for one use this redirect on a regular basis, as it is a quicker way to set up images for copying to Commons. As it is clearly being used, there is no reason it should be deleted. --Russavia Let's dialogue 12:47, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It is not clearly being used; it isn't in use at all right now. Why not use {{MTC}} instead? Anyway, it doesn't really matter to me. –Drilnoth (T/C) 13:20, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The reason it is coming up as being orphaned, is that because once I use {{CWC}} I do the transfer to Commons myself, and after adding {{Now Commons}} I remove the template as it is no longer in need of being transferred to Commons. Hence, it will appear to be orphaned, as it should be, I guess. --Russavia Let's dialogue 13:37, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, okay. So you add the template, and then just use the link it generates to move the file? Wouldn't it be easier to use one of the countless user scripts designed to move images to Commons, such as User:Where next Columbus?/commonsmover.js, or tag the image to be moved using Twinkle's image tagging function? Anyways, if you find the redirect to really be helpful, I guess I'll withdraw this nomination. –Drilnoth (T/C) 15:55, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Pointless redirect to a failed proposal Muhandes (talk) 10:48, 2 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Meh. While I created this shortcut, I don't really care whether or not it stays since the proposal failed. Officially, because of the fact I think that it might be good for the shortcut to stay for reference but since I can also see the argument for removing it, I'll stay neutral.
