The result of the discussion was converted into an article, no longer a redirect. NAC. —  Glenfarclas  (talk) 15:42, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - This target is listed in a missing articles wikiproject. As it stands, this could be a reasonable typo for the current target, but there is a beetle genus of this name - see here and here. Gil Gamesh (talk) 19:51, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Anaesthetis testacea - I've created a page for the beetle. with a suitable hatnote. Bridgeplayer (talk) 23:59, 28 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: Unless the beetle genus is monotypic, it is misleading to have the genus name redirecting to a species. Even if it is, the article should be at the genus name if possible. As fascinating as the beetle is, the typo (for either anaesthetic or anaesthetist) seems a more likely target. --Stemonitis (talk) 05:47, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Converted to article - I agree; I thought about it afterwards but it was getting late! I've now produced a stub on the genus. Bridgeplayer (talk) 14:25, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
