This is a list of redirects that have been proposed for deletion or other action on June 17, 2010
Peavy[edit]
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- The result of the discussion was converted to a disambiguation page by Bridgeplayer; speedy close as no longer a redirect. WP:NAC. — Glenfarclas (talk) 19:00, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
Improper redirect. Diverts user from such proper entries as Peavy (tool). DCDuring (talk) 23:51, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
- Keep - I suppose this could be created into a disambiguation page (uses), but until then, this seems to be a likely search term for Peavey Electronics, no? Best regards, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 16:51, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- Converted to disambiguation. I have also sorted out the Peavys from the Peaveys! Bridgeplayer (talk) 20:37, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
武[edit]
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- The result of the discussion was delete. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 03:37, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
- 武 → Cao Cao (links to redirect • history • stats)
Delete. Apparently a blind copy-and-paste re-direct by the banned JarlaxleArtemis. Just because it is the posthumous name of Cao Cao does not mean it holds primary importance over other 武's. And even this is incorrect. His posthumous name is 武王, not 武 alone. 华钢琴49 (TALK) 16:06, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
- Delete - as misleading. Bridgeplayer (talk) 22:09, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
- Delete, misleading and incorrect, as above. Glenfarclas (talk) 19:06, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
- Delete as incorrect term.--Lenticel (talk) 02:43, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
Grumman XF5F-1 "Skyrocket[edit]
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- The result of the discussion was delete. Wizardman Operation Big Bear 03:39, 27 June 2010 (UTC)
Procedural nomination. Was proposed for deletion with rationale: "Implausible redirect, with quote in page title. Fails CSD R3 criteria (not recent and converted article) but has no need to be kept." Taelus (Talk) 10:09, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
- Keep - this started life as an article albeit as a sub-stub. We don't like deleting redirected pages, with a history, without good reason, because keeping them is the most straightforward way of dealing with any GFDL issues. Also, deleting long-standing redirects is something that we don't rush to do because this can break links in external mirrors. Since this is entirely harmless, and doesn't meet any of the criteria for deletion, at WP:RFD#DELETE, on balance it should be kept. Bridgeplayer (talk) 22:22, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
- Rename to Grumman XF5F-1 "Skyrocket" to place the edit history somewhere else, and delete the current name. 70.29.212.131 (talk) 04:49, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- Rename to 70.29.212.131's typo-free name, and then delete the resulting redirect. Grumman XF5F-1 "Skyrocket" can hold the page history. Cheers, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 16:53, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
Cross Campus Libary[edit]
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
It should be spelled Library not Libary. The correct former name of this building is "Cross Campus Library" without a dash, but I see no reason to delete the other redirect "Cross-Campus Library" with a hyphen. Mrevan (talk) 08:25, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
- Keep - this is quite a plausible typo and the stats bear out the fact that it is used. It is a long-standing redirect that is entirely harmless. Bridgeplayer (talk) 12:39, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
- Keep per Bridgeplayer as a plausible and harmless typo. Cheers, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 16:54, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
