Delete, a redirect from mainspace to userspace. The page IEEE 802.3az was originally created as an article in mainspace. I prodded it earlier today. The creator then did a page-move (rather than just copying) of the page to his user-space, to User:Electron9/IEEE 802.3az. It is, of course, OK for him to work on improving the text in his userspace. However, the redirect itself should be deleted per item 5 in WP:RFD#DELETE as a cross-namespace redirect. Nsk92 (talk) 23:13, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nominating "Bob dole memorial ocean" for deletion, this makes no sense whatsoever and the only google hit I get for the literal string is a comment on the wiki redirect Usrnme h8er (talk · contribs) 13:19, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Completely pointless redirect made by user with only two edits, the other of which is also pointless and concerns the Pacific Ocean. Films and television series surrounded by quotes. Confer WP:Redirects for discussion/Log/2009 December 28#"it's a small world" and WP:Redirects for discussion/Log/2009 December 28#"almanac of british politics". As with WP:Redirects for discussion/Log/2009 December 29#"Alexander R. Bolling", quotation marks have no place around a name (or around almost any article title, for that matter). Illy conceived and in danger of setting precedent. A violation of Wikipedia:TITLE#Article title format. Most if not all are artefacts of pagemoves. Searching for something in quotation marks will turn up the same result anyhow (for example, searching for "United States" will take you straight to United States).   • Weak keep Artifacts of page moves aren't hurting anything, and the only precedent set is that if you put a quotation mark in the name, the article will get moved to the correct spot.
