Delete. Improbable typo. (Do we need to have redirects to all years in this century with the "0" replaced by "O"? — Arthur Rubin (talk) 23:13, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak Keep I know I sometimes type "o" instead of "0", and many other people do as well, if I go by my anecdotal accounts of perusing email, newsgroups, webpages... 70.29.210.242 (talk) 10:17, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, no more or less likely than any other string of numbers containing one or more zeros and there is no need to clutter up the search results with the thousands of redirects. Thryduulf (talk) 15:57, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - anyone who mistypes will quickly realize the error and retype correctly. There are no redirects for other 2oox years. Sbowers3 (talk) 17:16, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - Not plausible. I cannot imagine how this could be entered as an accidental "typo". --Taelus (talk) 01:31, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, this isn't plausible as an accidental typo. Grondemar 12:08, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - the only way this can be done unintentionally is to have the CAPS LOCK on while keying "2o1o." I don't think so... B.Wind (talk) 17:00, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - But solely to cancel out some of the space taken up by this RfD. If I'd seen this, I would've left it alone. It doesn't to ANY harm. It isn't misleading. It COULDN'T be potentially redirected anywhere else. It couldn't APPLY to anything else. It has SOME plausibility. It's not disruptive. And it takes up less space than an RfD entry. Redirects are WP:CHEAP. Please people! Listen! Leave them alone (unless they're laughably implausible, e.g. WdoowoWood)! Proll[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Keep ~ Amory (utc) 02:52, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Proll is colloquial German for EN equivalent prole(tarian), Pröll is a surname without any etymological relation, even if there's just a difference of one Umlaut. Please delete.--tickle me 04:58, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Bogan, which lists the analogous slang term in various countries and languages. B.Wind (talk) 06:42, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - The problem with doing that is that Proll is a valid ASCII representation of Pröll, which (per WP:R) makes it a valid redirect. I suppose that we could add a hatnote to Bogan addressing the problem, though. LedgendGamer 06:51, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Changing to keep per Bridgeplayer. Current target is a dab page, which now has a link to Bogan. It works for me. B.Wind (talk) 17:16, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep this is not the German Wikipedia, it doesn't matter what it means in German. This is also not Wiktkionary, so retargetting to Bogan makes no sense. 70.29.210.242 (talk) 08:12, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep, because "ö" is not easy to type on a normal keyboard. Further, Pröll is a disambiguation page, so any other meanings could be added there at editorial/talk page discretion. Bradjamesbrown (talk) 13:54, 21 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - as the most likely search term. I have added a link at Pröll to Bogan. Bridgeplayer (talk) 18:00, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - I was going to suggest adding a link to Bogan at Pröll, but I see it's been done... Lord Spongefrog, (I am Czar of all Russias!) 11:47, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
