Strong deletion, because it is a POV re-direct, which is highly discouraged. 华钢琴49 (TALK) 02:10, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ISlate[edit]

The result of the discussion was keep per consensus. It should be noted that iSlade and iTablet were widely touted as proposed/speculated names for the product that became iPad. Non admin close. B.Wind (talk) 17:13, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No longer relevant, since the product iPad was not named iSlate. mono 23:36, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - iSlate, iPad, and iTablet were three of the rumoured names that reported by reliable sources (like [1],[2] and [3]) over a period of about two years. The high number of references to the rumoured names seems to indicate that iSlate and iTablet, although not the official name of the iPad, are likely to be remembered as the rumoured name of the iPad. Memories cannot be simply "switched" on and off. 147.70.242.54 (talk) 01:42, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep was used in news stories before the actual product was released, therefore is an alternate name. 70.29.208.247 (talk) 04:13, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep, reasonable search term. Stifle (talk) 14:32, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

藍莎·拉薇[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Delete ~ Amory (utc) 03:10, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Delete — there's no reason to expect that someone would type this into a search at the English language Wikipedia when they expected to find an article on Lavie. Her article says nothing about China or the Chinese language. Nyttend (talk) 21:32, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - appears nowhere in the article to give it context. "藍莎·拉薇" appears nowhere else in Wikipedia mainspace (it, on the other hand, appears in [zh.wikipedia.org/zh-hk/藍莎·拉薇 Hong Kong Wikipedia] - apparently, the Hong Kong article and the redirect were originated by the same editor). The redirect's talk page appears to be a cut'n'paste of an early version of the editor's Hong Kong Wikipedia article - I would also recommend deleting it as well, but there is no applicable CSD for article talk pages. 147.70.242.54 (talk) 01:56, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
not a valid reason. See this link that discusses re-directs from Chinese, and by extension, other languages that do not use the Latin alphabet. But I still support the deletion in this case for the reason I already gave华钢琴49 (TALK) 02:36, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete not a HK performer, did not move to HK for a career, not ethnic Chinese, no significant connections to Chinese. 70.29.208.247 (talk) 05:51, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not necessary as a redirect, nothing links here. Prezbo (talk) 17:50, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • delete, no significant traffic (I had to back to May 2009 to find more than 10 hits in a month, and that was only 11). Thryduulf (talk) 17:47, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Maybe I should have noted that this redirect started life as a spammy article about one specific hell house, and was turned into a redirect in 2007. Anyway, if there was going to be an article about that topic it wouldn't be under this title.Prezbo (talk) 23:43, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Imma be bold and just move this to Impersonator pattern. If anyone contests, I'll delete it. ~ Amory (utc) 03:14, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible. Is not linked to from article-space and has an unnatural (i.e. disambiguated) title, and is improperly capitalized to boot. Cybercobra (talk) 11:47, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • (I redirected this from a restored prod.) If this term was in use at all—and it isn't; all the ghits trace back to a single blog entry—the proper redirect would have been from impersonator pattern. —Korath (Talk) 12:27, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Parminder[edit]

The result of the discussion was dabified (non admin close). B.Wind (talk) 17:06, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Parminder" is a very common Indian given name, why should it redirect to this specific person? œ 10:44, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Dabify we only have two "Parminder" articles. 70.29.208.247 (talk) 04:18, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • KeepDabify for the time being as Parminder Nagra has an article, Parminder Singh Saini is a two line WP:BLP1E under prod (and I'm sure it won't survive AfD if taken there, movie producer Parminder Vir does not have an article, nor do singer/songwriter Parminder Sandhu and either (possibly) noteworthy Parminder Singh. We really don't need a disambiguation page (particularly in light of the results of Google searches) until we get that third blue link (counting the prodded article), and the redirect can be overwritten at any time. 147.70.242.54 (talk) 18:13, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
    • Changed to "dabify" after the prod was contested; at least one of the three redlinked names should have an article soon... so a dabification would most probably be the prudent action here. 147.70.242.54 (talk) 21:56, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Delete - Leftover from a pagemove disagreement. ~ Amory (utc) 03:22, 1 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Created during a content/page move dispute. Can't find any evidence of the existence of such an organisation, and it is a very unlikely search term. -- Boing! said Zebedee 09:09, 21 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
