Colorado Review[edit]

The result of the discussion was Withdrawn. VegaDark (talk) 21:44, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

*Colorado ReviewColorado review I have swapped around redirects with Colorado review (the target) in order to preserve contribution history per GFDL. However, I believe that per WP:NAME#Lowercase, the source is the correct capitalization and am therefore requesting that the source (Colorado Review) be deleted, the target moved to the source name and then redirected. Or an admin history merge. MLauba (talk) 15:23, 25 May 2009 (UTC) [reply]

For clarity's sake, note that Colorado Review appears to have been nothing but a straight copy / paste of Colorado review on May 19th, 2009, followed by non-content tasks, so there is no edit history worth keeping under that one, contrary to the other article which goes back to 2007. Also, if there had been a smarter way to handle this all (I'm sure there must be one), please let me know for the future, thanks. MLauba (talk) 15:30, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Withdrawn, I finally read up on history merges. MLauba (talk) 09:43, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Examples of the Diverse Applications of the term Placebo[edit]

The result of the discussion was Deleted. -- JLaTondre (talk) 14:28, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not a likely term for searching or linking, and miscapitalized in any case. There aren't any particular "Examples of the Diverse Applications of the term" at the target. Gavia immer (talk) 05:00, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

World Jewry[edit]

The result of the discussion was Speedy deleted per R3 by Ryan Delaney. VegaDark (talk) 21:48, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible redirect, likely to have ironic racist connotations. Ryan Delaney talk 00:22, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Since a google search for "World Jewry" was turning up our Wikipedia page on "Jewish population", which is absolutely intolerable, I deleted it. --Ryan Delaney talk 15:27, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Delusions of grandeur[edit]

The result of the discussion was Re-targeted to Grandiose delusions and a hatnote for the album added to the new target. -- JLaTondre (talk) 14:31, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A delusion of grandeur is a form of psychosis and often a symptom of schizophrenia (see http://www.schizophrenia.com/diag.php). Megalomania is more of a personality trait and is not considered psychosis (See http://www.buzzle.com/editorials/8-7-2005-74387.asp). Roastporkbun (talk) 02:29, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. Currently Megalomania has extensive coverage of delusions of grandeur, and attempts to distinguish between the two. As such, it is a reasonable target for Delusions of grandeur. It would be better to have two separate articles, perhaps, one on megalomania and one on delusions of grandeur; but in the meantime a redirect is better than nothing. Eubulides (talk) 06:55, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
But I think delusions of grandeur is only being tacked to megalomania for lazy reasons. That long section on delusions of grandeur really does not belong there and needs to be moved to its own delusions of grandeur page. Roastporkbun (talk) 09:57, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I'm redirecting the page to a new page on grandiose delusions.
  • Turn into disambiguation page, listing both of the above articles and Delusions of Grandeur (a music album). If that isn't done, the album should be linked by hatnote instead. Robofish (talk) 04:19, 27 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Delete. The two terms describe different phenomena. Roastporkbun (talk) 02:37, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blonde nazi bitch[edit]

The result of the discussion was Speedy deleted by Jac16888 per G10. VegaDark (talk) 14:23, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not a fan of CSI, but I gather this is an unlikely search term "blonde+nazi+bitch"+"CSI"+-wikipedia. I'd personally delete this under CSD G3, but this is a fictional character, so discussion won't hurt. Fvasconcellos (t·c) 01:46, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete she's a redhead also, and there are other people/characters of this description 70.29.208.129 (talk) 06:57, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
